  • Patent number: 10803576
Abstract: An imaging portion acquires first sample-images of a first sample under optical-conditions, the first sample having a defect, and acquires second sample-images of a second sample under optical-conditions, the second sample having no defects. An arithmetic portion calculates a first difference between a first sample-image taken under a first optical-condition and the first sample-image taken under a second optical-condition, calculates a second difference between a second sample-image taken under the first optical-condition and a second sample-image taken under the second optical-condition, and selects the first and second optical-conditions under which a difference between the first and second differences becomes largest, as a first and a second inspection-condition. The imaging portion takes images of the target to be inspected under the first and second inspection-conditions to acquire a first and second inspection-images.

  • Patent number: 9686749
Abstract: A mobile phone 10 comprises a display 14 provided with an LED (46) that functions as a backlight, a display driver (42), etc. The display driver has a CABC (Content Adaptive Brightness Control) function to adjust illuminance of the backlight, an image quality of an image to be displayed, etc. based on the image that is displayed on the display 14. If a residual battery quantity of a secondary battery (58) becomes equal to or less that a first threshold value, for example, the CABC function is rendered in an enabled state. Furthermore, if the residual battery quantity becomes equal to or less that a second threshold value, an image parameter such as brightness, contrast, a gamma value, chroma saturation, etc. is changed such that the image that is output to the display driver becomes darker.

  • Publication number: 20130293599
Abstract: An electronic device includes a plurality of display modules, and an adjusting module operable to adjust chromaticity of the plurality of display modules. Each of the plurality of display modules comprises a display screen, and a backlight that emits light of a predetermined color and illuminates the display screen from the rear surface side. The display screens of the plurality of display modules are simultaneously viewable. The adjusting module performs, for each of plurality of display modules, an adjustment process for adjusting target chromaticity so that the target chromaticity to be displayed on the display module approaches a target value, the target chromaticity being chromaticity of the same color as the predetermined color.
