  • Patent number: 11339806
Abstract: A flow controller that changes the flow rate of air exhausted from an air cylinder in mid-stroke includes a first switching valve displaced from a first position to a second position under the effect of pilot air, and causing one port of the air cylinder to communicate with a first channel at the first position, exhausting air exhausted from the one port of the air cylinder while reducing the flow rate of the air using a first regulating valve at the second position. Since the pilot air is taken into the first switching valve from a second channel in a system different from the system of the first channel, a second regulating valve can be adjusted without being affected by the degree of opening of the first regulating valve.

  • Publication number: 20220153358
Abstract: In a vehicle air guide path structure, a vertically long air guide path forming member is provided along an outer edge of a side surface portion of a vehicle body on a rear side of a wheel house. A vertically long air guide path is formed at the rear side of the wheel house. The vertically long air guide path suctions air from the wheel house and exhausts air along a side surface of the vehicle body. A partition member partitions the vertically long air guide path so as to form a plurality of sections in an upper-lower direction. A vertically long inclined surface is formed on the side surface portion of the vehicle body at a rear side of the vertically long air guide path. The partition member protrudes to a rear side from the vertically long air guide path.

The electrochromic layer contains an anodic electrochromic compound and an oxidizable substance. The oxidizable substance is a substance which substantially does not undergo a color change due to oxidation and whose oxidant is not reduced. An oxidation reaction of the oxidizable substance is less likely to occur than an oxidation reaction of the anodic electrochromic compound. A controller is configured to control oxidation of the oxidizable substance based on a charge balance of the electrochromic element.

  • Patent number: 11148672
Abstract: Described is a system for analyzing time series data. A sequence of symbols is generated from a set of time series input data related to a moving vehicle using automatic segmentation. A grammar is extracted from the sequence of symbols, and the grammar is a subset of a probabilistic context-free grammar (PCFG). Using the grammar, time series input data can be analyzed, and a prediction of the vehicle's movement can be made. Vehicle operations for an autonomous vehicle are determined using the prediction.
