  • Patent number: 9463676
Abstract: A knee-action-type suspension is provided with an arm member, a compression coil spring, and a shock absorber. The coil spring is extended and retracted between a full-rebound state and a full-bump state in accordance with the magnitude of a load applied to a vehicle body. A wire of the coil spring includes a large-diameter wire portion, a small-diameter wire portion, and a wire diameter varying portion. The large-diameter wire portion is provided in a first portion of the coil spring, which is on the side near to a pivot. The small-diameter wire portion is provided in a second portion of the coil spring, which is on the side far from the pivot. A wire diameter of the large-diameter wire portion is greater than a wire diameter of the small-diameter wire portion.

  • Patent number: 8695956
Abstract: Bending deformation exceeding a yield stress is applied by winding a material on a mandrel. Coiling is performed simultaneously with the application of the bending deformation, and the load is removed after the coiling. This spring includes an outside surface region having a compressive residual stress and a compressive stress reduction region in which the compressive residual stress is reduced from the outside surface region toward the center of the material. A stress change portion at which a change from the compressive residual stress to a tensile residual stress occurs exists between the outside surface region and the center of the material. The spring further includes a tensile stress peak portion, tensile stress reduction region, and inside surface region. The inside surface region has the tensile compressive residual stress having an absolute value smaller than that of the outside surface region.

  • Patent number: 8297516
Abstract: Without using a component such as a chip coil, a winding pattern is formed with a wire with which a main wiring pattern is formed. This enables to deal with the flexibility by realizing a thin product using a coil antenna. Further, the wiring pattern is designed such that the winding pattern is provided and distributed to the main wiring pattern forming a loop, and is formed with the wire so as to have a wound shape small enough compared with the main wiring pattern. In this way, the ratio of the self-inductance to the mutual inductance is appropriately made further large, so that the mutual inductance is made comparatively small.

  • Publication number: 20040171162
Abstract: A discrimination mark having both a simple authentication function by perceptual recognition and an accurate authentication function by mechanical recognition enabled by using a combination of a mark having an authentication function by perceptual recognition with a substance having a content of a table isotope different from the natural abundance. The S/N ratio can be made large in making a mechanical recognition, so that the authentication by mechanical recognition can be implemented with high accuracy. The substance having a controlled content of a stable isotope different from the natural abundance is a rate one itself and difficult to produce. As a result, this discrimination mark has a high security level.
