  • Patent number: 10835950
Abstract: A casting mold and a production method thereof with which exfoliation of coating is controlled and liquidity of molten metal can be maintained are provided. This casting mold 1 includes a surface processing part 3 in which a plurality of groove parts 5 of a grid groove 4 formed in a surface of a molten metal contact part of a mold material 2 is coated with a carbon film 6. In this surface processing part 3, a width W1 of the groove parts 5 is 35 ?m or narrower, skewness Ssk of three-dimensional surface roughness is in a range of ?0.8 to ?0.2, and indentation hardness of the carbon film 6 tested by a nanoindenter is 1000 N/mm2 or higher. With this arrangement, it is possible to optimize the surface processing part 3 in such a manner that a penetration rate of the molten metal (aluminum 10) is controlled to be low and the coating (carbon film 6) is unlikely to exfoliate from the groove parts 5.

  • Patent number: 9307809
Abstract: In a slide fastener (1) according to the invention, each fastener element (10, 10?, 30, 40) includes an upper half element portion (11, 31, 41) disposed at a first surface side of a fastener tape (2) and a lower half element portion (21) disposed at a second surface side of the fastener tape (2). The upper half element portion (11, 31, 41) includes a first tape-sandwiching portion (12, 32, 42) and a first head portion (13, 13?, 33, 43) of a tapered form that extends from the first tape-sandwiching portion (12, 32, 42). The upper half element portion (11, 31, 41) has a tapered portion (14, 34, 44) that gradually decreases in a dimension between front and rear side surfaces, in the tape length direction, of at least the first tape-sandwiching portion (12, 32, 42) as it goes upward. According to the slide fastener (1) of the invention, each fastener element (10, 10?, 30, 40) can be formed lightweight, and the fastener element (10, 10?, 30, 40) can be given an appearance looking like a metal fastener element.

  • Patent number: 9156080
Abstract: A casting die applied with laser machining and carbon-film coating on a die surface is provided with multiple grooves formed spaced at a predetermined pitch by the laser machining; multiple ridges between the multiple grooves; and multiple carbon portions buried in the multiple grooves by the carbon-film coating, wherein the die surface with the ridge and the carbon portion alternately disposed is configured such that molten metal flows thereon; the grooves are 45 ?m or less in opening width and 60 ?m or more in depth; and the ridge has, on a top surface thereof applied with the laser machining, multiple micro-grooves for reducing a contact area with the molten metal. The casting die is aimed to balance expanding the groove width and increasing a thickness of the carbon film and to achieve suppression of the molten metal entering into the groove and exfoliation of the carbon film.

  • Patent number: 7111367
Abstract: This invention relates to a concealed-type slider. Side walls are erected on both sides of a bottom plate of a body and a top end of each side wall is bent to form a flange. A guide portion is provided by forming a down-grade slope inclined from a leading end of a shoulder opening side of the flange between the flange and the side wall. The leading end of the flange provided with this guide portion is disposed at right angle to or tilted more or less toward a rear mouth side with respect to a side face of a guide post. Consequently, when an insert pin is inserted, the guide portion guides a fastener tape smoothly and when sliding the slider in its closing direction, the sliding operation can be executed smoothly.
