  • Patent number: 5690444
Abstract: In a cord equipped with a connector, a metal or synthetic resin tube has at one end a connecting ring and in its wall a through-hole communicating with a hollow of the tube. End portions of a cord are inserted in a trued-up form in the hollow from an opening of the connector. The hollow and the through-hole are filled with a molded core insertion-molded of synthetic resin so that the molded core is prevented from accidental removal from the hollow, thus firmly holding the end portions of the cord. This connector-equipped cord is particularly useful when applied to a pull string of a second bag or a slider pull tab of a slide fastener.

  • Patent number: 5509181
Abstract: An attachment fitting in which several sets of ball chains can be arranged and the attachment is possible over the entire length of the attachment fitting main body. Also, the strength of the main body is improved.A tubular main body has an opening on one end and can be closed on the other end. A slit is provided in the vicinity of the other end through the opening. A connecting member is provided and extends in the longitudinal direction of the main body which is symmetrical to the slit of the main body. Several protruding pieces are formed and jut out from the circumference of the closure so that the aforementioned opening can be shut. The end of ball of several sets of ball chains is fitted into the main body. A connecting rod of ball chain goes through slit. The attachment is closed through the opening by shutting the closure.

  • Patent number: 4667377
Abstract: A slide fastener having a top stop assembly including a pair of top end stops which are meshable with each other so as to make the total width of the top stop assembly slightly smaller than the minimum width of a Y-shaped guide channel of a slider for allowing the top stop assembly to pass through the guide channel. The two top end stops have at their inner sides a pair of mating stepped portions complementary in shape to each other. The top stop assembly also includes blocking means for being attached to at least one of the mating stepped portions to prevent the two top end stops from meshing with each other.
