  • Patent number: 8659375
Abstract: A reed switch includes an envelope. First and second fixed terminal pieces are at one end of the envelope. A third fixed terminal piece is at another end of the envelope. A movable reed piece has a base end portion facing the one end portion of the third fixed terminal piece across a magnetic gap, a distal end portion to contact the first fixed terminal piece, and a movable contact portion. A first spring member has a base end portion secured to the first fixed terminal piece and a distal end portion to contact the movable contact portion. A second spring member has a base end portion secured to the second fixed terminal piece and a distal end portion to contact the movable contact portion. A third spring member has one and another end portions respectively secured to the movable reed piece and the third fixed terminal piece.

  • Patent number: 7681753
Abstract: A pressure container 1 composed of a reinforcing layer 2 and a liner layer 3, with a hydrogen charging pressure of 30 MPa or higher; and a hydrogen absorbing material and a carrier for holding said hydrogen absorbing material (hydrogen absorbing material portion 4) contained in the pressure container 1 are included, and a volume fraction X of the hydrogen absorbing material with ?m?100 kg/m3 with respect to an internal volume of the pressure container 1 is 5(%)?X?20(%), where ?m denotes a maximum hydrogen absorption amount per unit volume of the hydrogen absorbing material (kg/m3); X=100 ·Vm/Vi (%); Vi is an internal volume of the pressure container (L); and Vm is a volume of the hydrogen absorbing material in the pressure container (L).

  • Patent number: 6048095
Abstract: An external connection mechanism of a printed-circuit board 1 has a U-shaped elastic metal piece 2 having two parallel legs adapted to receive one edge of a printed-circuit board 1 therebetween. An insulating terminal base 3 holds both the metal piece 2 and an electric terminal 4 while keeping them in contact. The printed-circuit board 1 carries a temperature sensor 13 which is connected to a temperature-responsive circuit of the board 1. A contact lug 6 is formed by bending one of the two legs so as to be engageable with a conductive portion of the board 1, and a temperature-measuring station 7 is formed by bending root portion of the other one of the two legs toward close vicinity of the electric terminal 4 so as to be engageable with the temperature sensor 13.

  • Patent number: 5558434
Abstract: A method for preventing accumulation of sludge in a coal water mixture storage tank. The method involves:preparing a coal and water mixture storage tank having a circulation pump for taking a stored liquid out of the storage tank, a liquid conducting pipe vertically standing inside of the storage tank for conducting the stored liquid discharged from the circulation pump to a bottom of the storage tank, one or more nozzles for jetting the stored liquid out of the liquid conducting pipe toward a radial direction of the storage tank and provision for rotating the liquid conducting pipe having an axis at a center of the storage tank;determining a zone width r(m) of a stirring zone of one of the nozzles, using a formula of:r.ltoreq.Q/(140.times.A.sup.0.5)where, A is a sectional area (m.sup.2) of a nozzle opening and Q is a flow amount of the stored liquid per one nozzle (m.sup.
