  • Patent number: 10037482
Abstract: Raster image processing computer devices buffer pages of print-ready bitmaps waiting to be printed by a printing engine. A computer device monitors the printing speed of the printing engine and estimates the processing time for the raster image processing computer devices to produce the print-ready bitmaps, based on the complexity of the pages of the print job. The computer device compares the printing speed to the processing time to predict whether the number of pages of the print-ready bitmaps buffered by the raster image processing computer devices will increase or decrease. The computer device places one or more of the raster image processing computer devices in a reduced-power sleep mode when the number of pages of the print-ready bitmaps buffered is between a buffer minimum and a buffer maximum, and is predicted to not decrease.

  • Patent number: 9745211
Abstract: A method and apparatus of sanitizing drinking water to be dispensed from a water dispenser having a reservoir includes the steps of providing the ozone gas generator that generates an ozone gas stream, transmitting the ozone gas stream from the generator to the water dispenser reservoir, mechanically breaking up the ozone gas stream inside the reservoir to produce ozone gas bubbles, and using the ozone gas bubbles to disinfect water in the reservoir. The ozone gas stream can be mechanically broken up using a pump such as, for example, an impeller type pump.

  • Patent number: 8387409
Abstract: A method and apparatus for sanitizing a water dispenser that dispenses water for human consumption is disclosed. The dispenser can be in the form of any dispenser that dispenses water for human consumption employing a reservoir that dispenses water through one or more spigots. Water in the reservoir is sanitized with an air/ozone gas mixture that is transmitted to a porous polymeric diffuser having a central bore and a porous wall. The porosity of the porous wall defines bubble size.
