  • Patent number: 10369915
Abstract: A portable beverage holder includes a receptacle, an elongated attachment clip, and first and second fastening tabs. The receptacle includes a body having an open end and a closed end and is configured for receipt of a beverage container. The receptacle further includes a rim surrounding the open end of the body. The elongated attachment clip includes a head defining an opening and first and second legs extending from the head. The head pivotably retains the rim of the receptacle within the opening of the head. The first and second legs extend from the head and are spaced-apart from one another. The free ends of the first and second legs define an opening therebetween enabling insertion of a structure therethrough and into the elongated volume. The fastening tabs extend from the free ends of the respective legs and are configured to releasably engage one another.

  • Patent number: 9468203
Abstract: Novel devices and methods of capturing, controlling and preventing infestation of insects using microfabricated surfaces are provided. In particular, a mechanism of insect capture inspired by the microstructures of the leaf surfaces of plants and the key features of those surfaces with respect to the capture and control of pests have been determined and engineered into a variety of microfabricated surfaces capable of reproducing the effectiveness of these physical capture methods.

  • Publication number: 20110289824
Abstract: Compounds, compositions, kits, devices, and methods of attracting, arresting, aggregating, detecting, eradicating, controlling, or killing an insect, such as a bed bug, by utilizing insect attractant, aggregating, or arresting compounds and compositions is provided. A suitable device comprises a pair of plates separated by an internal spacing sized to permit entry into the detection device by one or more insects. Also disclosed is a method for readily detecting insects such as bed bugs in a multiple areas such as in multiple hotel rooms, areas where animals are housed, or the like.

  • Publication number: 20110293553
Abstract: Compounds, compositions, kits, devices, and methods of attracting, detecting, eradicating, controlling, or killing an insect, such as a bed bug, by utilizing insect attractant, arresting, and/or aggregation compounds and compositions is provided. Insect attractant, arresting, and/or aggregation compounds identified from insect fecal extract by an analytical technique, such as gas chromatography, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), Carbon-13 NMR, mass spectroscopy, LC-MS, GC-MS, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), or combinations thereof are provided. A bed bug attractant, arresting, and/or aggregation compound identified from bed bug feces and exhibiting a Carbon-13 NMR peak at about ? 159.453 ppm is also provided.

  • Patent number: 4877245
Abstract: A table or table-top game, which simulates the game of golf for example, comprises a base (44), a pair of rods (24) on which a ball (30) rests, and a support bar (48) which is capable of adjustment movement by being raised and lowered. Beneath the rods is a sheet of material (58) which can be printed to represent a golf course and which can be advanced from one roller (60) to another roller (62). A grid is placed over the sheet (58) to restrain the ball from movement after it drops from the rods. By moving the rods apart and together it is possible to cause the ball to travel towards the crosspiece (51) of the bar. The ends of the rods (24) remote from the crosspiece (51) can be mounted in any one of a plurality of different locating positions (28) so that the track defined by the rods can traverse different zones of the base (44).
