Abstract: A card vending machine comprising a cabinet having a plurality of card holding and dispensing modules individually removably positioned therein with each of the modules including a card holding portion and card dispensing portion. Each of the modules includes a gauge cam to enable the card dispensing portions of the modules to be adjusted to compensate for cards having various thicknesses.

Abstract: A pickle card dispenser comprising a cabinet having a front portion adapted to display the pickle cards in a vertically disposed manner with the vertically disposed cards being in communication with a plurality of card trays provided in the cabinet. The front portion of the cabinet has a plurality of vertically disposed channels in which the cards are positioned. The cards are dispensed from the cabinet in response to money being deposited in a bill acceptor being provided therein.

Abstract: Pharmaceutical compositions such as ointments and creams are provided by admixture of anti-inflammatory steroids active on topical application with a liquid oily phase containing at least one oil possessing a viscosity less than 10 centistokes and in which the steroid has a solubility of at least 0.5% by weight at 25.degree. C., the degree of unsaturation of the steroid in the liquid oily phase of the composition at 25.degree. C., being at least 3. Examples of steroids which may be used are betamethasone, beclomethasone and clobetasol derivatives. Suitable oils include esters of mono- and dibasic aliphatic acids. The compositions may include further oils such as liquid paraffin and conventional additives used in the preparation of ointments and creams. The local anti-inflammatory effect of the steroids is maintained in such formulations but systemic side effects are decreased.
