Abstract: An example technique is performed by a client on a device, and includes: obtaining attributes relating to the device, to one or more wireless networks, or to both the device and the one or more wireless networks; evaluating the attributes in voting modules of the client to generate votes, with a voting module evaluating one or more of the attributes and generating a vote; making a determination, based on the votes, to connect the device to a wireless network of the one or more wireless networks, or to maintain a connection between the device and the wireless network; and controlling the device based on the determination.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlled rate dispensing of a liquid contained in a flexible bag, said apparatus including a chamber adapted to contain the flexible bag containing the liquid, an outlet from the chamber adapted to receive an outlet conduit communicating with the interior of the flexible bag, a source of gas arranged to apply pressure to at least part of the exterior walls of the flexible bag, and a pressure regulator arranged to control the pressure applied to said exterior walls, whereby pressure applied to said exterior walls causes liquid to be dispensed from the flexible bad through the outlet conduit at a controlled rate. A method of delivering liquid at a controlled rate using the apparatus of the present invention is also described.

Abstract: A net for a ball game comprising vertical end posts (1,2) and a vertical center post (3), a cross bar (7) extending between the end posts and the center post adjacent their upper ends to define the "height" of the net, a multiplicity of rows of net line (10) extending between each end post and the center post to provide a visible "net", the adjacent lines (10) being spaced sufficiently to allow a ball to pass when played at a level which is lower than the level of the net, the post (1,2,3) being hollow, the end posts receiving retaining member for the ends of the net lines (10), the center post (3) having a central rotatable tube (25) through which the net lines (10) pass, the net lines (10) being retractable within the center post (3) by rotation of the tube (25).
