  • Publication number: 20070262140
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention are directed to a system, method, and apparatus for offering products and services based, at least in part, on a continually updating analysis of user accounts held by commercial enterprises such as banks, credit card companies, media service providers, insurance companies, and other institutions that maintain user accounts that are subject to periodic transactions. One embodiment is directed to a system comprising a processor and a memory for storing data coupled to the processor, wherein the memory includes a user account comprising user data, user account data, and relationship data. The processor is configured for calculating a risk score based at least in part on the user data, user account data, or relationship data. • Publication number: 20060235743
Abstract: A method for marketing a product to one or more customers includes retrieving a profitability score for the customer from a customer database. The product is selectively marketed to the one or more customers based on the profitability score. In a particular embodiment, a plurality of products can be bundled together to generate a bundle of products. The bundle of products can be selectively marketed to the customer. Further, the profitability score for the customer can be determined by determining a billed revenue for the customer over a predetermined time period and determining a collected revenue for the customer over the predetermined time period. Thereafter, the collected revenue is divided by the billed revenue to yield a percentage paid. Additionally, the percentage paid can be scaled to an integer between 1 and 999 to yield the profitability score.

  • Publication number: 20050226152
Abstract: Content is distributed from a source to a sink only if the sink is within a predetermined geographic locality. In one embodiment, a signature request is sent to the sink. The sink obtains an actual signature compares it to the requested signature, and if the requested signature and the actual signature resemble each other sufficiently closely, then the content is sent to the sink The signature is compiled from parameters obtained from appropriate parameter detectors. The parameter detectors generate, detect and monitor various signals required for determining the locality of the sink.

  • Patent number: 6920721
Abstract: Off-site factory built structure employs a chassis including two interior longitudinal beam members joined at their ends to a perimeter structure. A floor system is integrated within the chassis perimeter. A ledger member is fixed to the inner surface of each longitudinal perimeter member so that a top surface lies in a plane coincident with top surfaces of the interior longitudinal beams. Lateral members are coupled to the tops of the interior longitudinal beams and to the top of the ledger members. The lateral members include secondary stiffening members such as C-channel members, metal Z-channel members, or other metal members of similar structural capacity, spaced apart from each other by a maximum distance S, related to the width of the floor system W, by the equation: S 12?½W.

  • Patent number: 6225312
Abstract: The invention relates to a group of new piperazine and piperidine compounds having interesting pharmacological properties. It has been found that compounds of formula (a) wherein A represents a heterocyclic group of 5-7 ring atoms wherein 1-3 heteroatoms from the group O, N and S are present; R1 is hydrogen or fluoro; R2 is C1-4-alkyl, C1-4-alkoxy or an oxo group, and p is 0, 1 or 2; Z represents carbon or nitrogen, and the dotted line is a single bond when Z is nitrogen, and a single or double bond when Z is carbon; R3 and R4 independently are hydrogen or C1-4-alkyl; n has the value 1 or 2; R5 is halogen, hydroxy, C1-4-alkoxy or C1-4-alkyl, and q is 0, 1, 2 or 3; Y is phenyl, furanyl or thienyl, which groups may be substituted with 1-3 substituents of the group hydroxy, halogen, C1-4-alkoxy, C1-4-alkyl, cyano, aminocarbonyl, mono- or di-C1-4-alkylaminocarbonyl; and salts thereof show high affinity for both the dopamine D2 and serotonin 5-HT1A receptors.
