Publication number: 20240122763Abstract: Embodiments of negative pressure wound therapy systems and methods are disclosed. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a wound dressing, negative pressure source, user interface, sensor, and control circuitry. The user interface can receive an activation input. The sensor can detect whether the wound dressing is positioned over a wound. The control circuitry can cause supply of negative pressure in response to receipt of the activation input and a determination that the sensor detects that the wound dressing is positioned over the wound. In addition, the control circuitry can prevent supply of negative pressure in response to a determination that the sensor does not detect that the wound dressing is positioned over the wound.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 22, 2023Publication date: April 18, 2024Inventors: Ben Alan Askem, Victoria Beadle, John Philip Gowans, Mark Hesketh, Allan Kenneth Frazer Grugeon Hunt, William Kelbie, Damyn Musgrave, Joseph William Robinson

Publication number: 20170251875Abstract: A convection barbeque cooking apparatus includes a hollow air column, a heating element, a cooking area, and one or more mesh screens. The hollow air column extends from a base section and includes air intake ports. The heating element is positioned inside the hollow air column, and above the air intake ports. The air suctioned through the air intake ports is heated and transferred upwardly through the hollow air column. The cooking area is positioned above and in fluid communication with the hollow air column, where the cooking area includes a cooking platform positioned proximal to a brim of the cooking area to place the food item to be cooked via convection barbeque. The mesh screens are positioned below the cooking platform to collect portions of the food item slipping from the cooking platform, and thereby preventing the portions from igniting due to contact with the heating element.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 26, 2016Publication date: September 7, 2017Inventor: Douglas Kenneth Robinson

Patent number: 7316243Abstract: A fluid delivery system includes a fluid storage vessel that feeds a first pipe work loop having a first pump that urges fluid through the first loop at a first pressure and which returns to the vessel. At least one pipe work branch is fed from the storage vessel or the first pipe work loop. The pipe work branch includes a second pump that urges fluid through the pipe work branch at a second pressure. The fluid having flowed through a return manifold is returned to the vessel when the offtakes are closed. Opening of one or more offtakes opens the system to atmospheric pressure and causes the direction of fluid flow to reverse in one or more hoses that connect the one or more opened offtakes with the return manifold. The one or more opened offtakes is supplied with fluid from both the branch manifold and return manifold.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2004Date of Patent: January 8, 2008Assignee: Honeyman Group LimitedInventors: Trevor Honeymann, Kenneth Robinson

Publication number: 20070211445Abstract: According to various aspects of the present disclosure, exemplary embodiments are provided of low-profile apparatus capable of providing board level shielding for one or more electrical components while also providing dissipation of heat generated by the one or more electrical components. In one particular embodiment, an apparatus generally includes a resiliently compressible EMI gasket, a heat sink, and a spring clip. The spring clip has resilient legs with feet. The feet are configured to engage the board. When the feet are engaged with the board, a clamping force is generated that compressively biases the heat sink and the resiliently compressive EMI gasket generally towards the board.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 1, 2006Publication date: September 13, 2007Inventors: Kenneth Robinson, James Kline

Publication number: 20070211436Abstract: An exemplary apparatus generally includes a fence, a heat sink, and a thermal interface. The fence includes walls defining at least one opening along an upper portion of the fence. The walls are configured to be disposed generally about one or more electrical components of a board. The heat sink includes resilient fingers connected to a lid portion, and configured to engage openings of the fence and/or the board. The lid portion is configured to substantially entirely cover the at least one opening of the fence for cooperatively shielding the one or more electrical components within the interior defined by the lid portion and the fence's walls. The thermal interface is configured such that engagement of the resilient fingers with the openings compresses the thermal interface between the lid portion and the one or more electrical components, thereby forming a thermally-conducting heat path from the one or more electrical components to the heat sink.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 1, 2006Publication date: September 13, 2007Inventors: Kenneth Robinson, James Kline

Patent number: 7160199Abstract: Golf training devices and methods of using a training device, that includes primary for putting and chipping. The invention can include an attachment socket for attaching the device on top of a hand grip of a golf club and a plate extending from the top of the attachment socket at a bent angle approximately 45 degrees in elevation and at a twisted angle or preferably approximately 15 degrees away from the body of the golfer so that it rests against the lower inner forward forearm of a golfer during putting and chipping. The plate is narrow on a proximal end and wider on a distal end where it is slightly concave to conform to the shape of the forearm. The device is removably attached to the golf club by a fastener on the attachment socket having a threaded hole with an adjustment screw tightening an inner clamp against the grip of the golf club so that the grip of the golf club is fastened in the attachment socket.Type: GrantFiled: July 20, 2005Date of Patent: January 9, 2007Assignee: The Perfect Link, Inc.Inventors: Lawson C. Mitchell, Kenneth Robinson

Patent number: 5159344Abstract: A theft detection and location system for aircraft utilizing both a conventional aircraft transponder/encoder and a dedicated transponder/encoder. The dedicated transponder is fixed on an alarm code which when transmitted in response to interrogation signals from ground stations, alerts air traffic controllers that the aircraft has been stolen. The system includes electronic switching devices which automatically enable the dedicated transponder to be activated each time an aircraft electrical master switch is turned on. An arming device is provided for activating the dedicated transponder in response to a predetermined condition. The dedicated transponder will continue to function even if the entire aircraft electrical system is turned off since the electronic switching device directly couples the dedicated transponder to the aircraft battery. A disarming device is provided in order to deactivate the dedicated transponder and in turn activate the conventional transponder.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 1991Date of Patent: October 27, 1992Assignee: North Atlantic Air, Inc.Inventors: Kenneth A.
