  • Publication number: 20240248445
Abstract: An energy management system includes processing agents that each include a run function to provide a data request for energy-related data and generate an output. A messaging interface receives the energy-related data from data nodes associated with external organizations, power generating facilities, and/or other processing agents in response to the data request, publishes the energy-related data to the requesting processing agent, receives the output from the respective processing agent, and provides the output to other processing agents and/or data nodes. A simulation controller selectively replaces the energy-related data with simulation data for data nodes.

  • Patent number: 12031789
Abstract: A bolt-action for a firearm includes a receiver that defines a chamber having a longitudinal axis and a breech end of the receiver. A bolt is at least partially inside the chamber and slidingly engaged with the receiver. The bolt has a locked position that prevents movement of the bolt parallel to the longitudinal axis of the chamber and an unlocked position that allows movement of the bolt parallel to the longitudinal axis of the chamber. • Publication number: 20240208809
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed that monitor the carbon and hydrogen production of a pyrolysis reactor system and adjust one or more inputs to the reactor system to improve performance when one or both of the monitored carbon and hydrogen production falls outside of a target performance specification. In particular, the ratio of fuel to oxidant (“fuel/oxidant ratio”) supplied to a combustion chamber of the reactor system is adjusted to below a fuel/oxidant equivalence ratio range, defined as 0.9-1.1, when both carbon and hydrogen production falls below a target carbon and hydrogen specification, and adjusted above the fuel/oxidant equivalence ratio range when only the carbon production falls below a target carbon specification. The target specification can include a number of parameters including production rate, morphology (of carbon), and operating temperature.

  • Patent number: 12015422
Abstract: An apparatus has a communication bus, a first circuit, and a second circuit. The first circuit is operational to generate a package, calculate a check value of payload data in the package with a particular cyclic redundance check variant and an obfuscation type, store an encrypted check value in a footer of the package, store an encrypted obfuscation code in a header of the package, and transmit the package on the communication bus. The second circuit is operational to receive the package from the communication bus, decrypt the encrypted check value to determine the check value calculated by the first circuit, determine an obfuscation type from the encrypted obfuscation code, perform a payload verification of the payload data with the particular cyclic redundancy check variant with the obfuscation type applied and the check value, and signal that the payload data is valid in response to passage of the payload verification.

  • Patent number: 11978159
Abstract: A cross reality system that provides an immersive user experience by storing persistent spatial information about the physical world that one or multiple user devices can access to determine position within the physical world and that applications can access to specify the position of virtual objects within the physical world. Persistent spatial information enables users to have a shared virtual, as well as physical, experience when interacting with the cross reality system. Further, persistent spatial information may be used in maps of the physical world, enabling one or multiple devices to access and localize into previously stored maps, reducing the need to map a physical space before using the cross reality system in it. Persistent spatial information may be stored as persistent coordinate frames, which may include a transformation relative to a reference orientation and information derived from images in a location corresponding to the persistent coordinate frame.
