  • Publication number: 20240377519
Abstract: A radar system includes a radar receiver configured to receive return signals reflected from within a volume of radar coverage. A processor for processing the return signals extracts characteristics from a return signal received in a corresponding coherent processing interval. The extracted characteristics include a set of frequencies and/or a set of times, each frequency and/or time having a respective extracted amplitude of a corresponding set of extracted amplitudes. The processor determines a corresponding amplitude index for each extracted amplitude; and for each extracted amplitude, respectively stores in a memory location addressable via the corresponding amplitude index, a set of return signal related data including information for identifying the corresponding frequency and/or time, and an associated identifier for uniquely identifying, in combination with the amplitude index, that set of return signal related data.

  • Publication number: 20240344635
Abstract: An artificial cable trench (ACT) includes a body and a trench formed into the body. The trench is configured to hold a cable, umbilical, or similar feature. The ACT may be positioned along a seabed or shoreline to stabilize the cable and thereby prevent movement and eventual damage to the cable. The body of the ACT is shaped to overcome the flow induced loads caused by the relative motion between the cable and the surrounding waves and sea currents as well as providing effective friction/engagement with a contact surface (e.g., a shoreline surface). The ACT may have features that result in self-burying in sand and/or preventing lateral movement.

  • Publication number: 20230196686
Abstract: An internal check-out system can coordinate between A) a provisioning system for artificial reality platform-specific applications and B) a social media platform, for providing an application check-out pipeline that's executed internally to the social media platform but in the context of the artificial reality platform. The social media platform can provide content items, related to applications that can be executed on the artificial reality platform, with links for the user to acquire the application. When the user accesses such a link, the internal check-out system can use a link to acquire a context of the artificial reality platform, useable by the social media platform. The internal check-out system can then provide a view, from within the social media platform, to a check-out service for the selected artificial reality platform application. Following the checkout, the application can be automatically installed on an artificial reality device.
