Publication number: 20190390492Abstract: The invention relates to a furniture hinge having a mounting body and a hinge body with a hinge arm for fastening, in a hinged manner, a furniture door or the like to a furniture carcass. According to the invention, at least one section of the hinge arm or of a component connected to the hinge arm has at least one guide section which interacts with a sliding guide on the mounting body in such a manner that the hinge arm or the component connected to the hinge arm is mounted displaceably in the sliding guide along an installation direction and is retained transversely to the installation direction and that a movement of the hinge arm against the installation direction can be blocked when an installation position is reached. The invention further relates to an associated method for mounting a furniture door in a hinged manner. The furniture hinge and the method permit the installation of a furniture door, flap or the like to a furniture carcass in a fast and reliable fashion.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 13, 2017Publication date: December 26, 2019Inventors: Ertac Capur, Scott Ortega, Daniel Kenneth Buck, Ufuk Kiziltan, Himmet Tanriverdi

Publication number: 20070209611Abstract: An internal combustion engines includes a cylinder carrier with a deck surface, and a crankshaft and a camshaft mounted within the cylinder carrier. A number of valve lifter sleeves are mounted in a depending orientation within bores formed in the deck surface. The lifter sleeves are maintained in contact with the cylinder carrier by cylinder assemblies superimposed upon the sleeves and the cylinder carrier's deck. Valve lifters housed within the lifter sleeves conduct both high-pressure oil running through push rods to an upper portion of the engine cylinder, and low-pressure oil exiting the cylinder. The lifters conduct the low pressure oil to the camshaft's lobes for lubrication purposes.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 21, 2007Publication date: September 13, 2007Applicant: BUCK SUPPLY CO., INC.Inventor: Kenneth Buck

Patent number: 6715721Abstract: A mount for supporting a corrugated conduit on a panel has a lower part of circular shape with four catch fingers arranged around it. The lower part is bolted the panel. An upper part has a lower circular boss that is a snap fit in the lower part, being engaged by the spring fingers, and is rotatable about a vertical axis. The upper part has a spring clip of omega shape with an internal rib that engages between corrugations on the conduit when this is pushed into the clip. The lower and upper parts are integral mouldings of a plastics material. The upper part may be provided in a range of sizes to fit different conduits, whilst fitting with a common lower part.Type: GrantFiled: January 17, 2002Date of Patent: April 6, 2004Assignee: Cable Management Products LimitedInventor: Meirion Kenneth Buck

Patent number: 5091654Abstract: A method of locating the position of an object on the platen of a raster input scanner having a movable scan carriage and an extended array of scanners is disclosed. The method includes the steps of obtaining a previously stored theoretical position of the object from a memory, locating the scan carriage at a position spaced a predetermined distance from the previously stored position, moving the scan carriage toward the previously stored position while operating at least some of the scanners until a target on the object is detected by the operating scanners, and storing a target position of the scan carriage where the target is detected. The target position can represent the location of the scanner's calibration strip or the registration position of a document. After the target position is stored, the scan carriage can be located at the target position for calibrating the scanners if the target position represents the location of the calibration strip.Type: GrantFiled: August 28, 1990Date of Patent: February 25, 1992Assignee: Xerox CorporationInventors: Gerald L.
