  • Publication number: 20230111543
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for multidimensional parts average testing for testing devices and analyzing testing results to detect outliers according to embodiments of the present invention. The testing can include calculating multivariate (e.g., bivariate) statistics using delta measurements of like devices, a ratio of measurements, or principal component analysis that identifies eigenvectors and eigenvalues to define meta parameters, for example. Raw test result data can be converted to residual space and robust regression can be performed to prevent outlier results from influencing regression, thereby reducing overkill advantageously.

  • Publication number: 20130078065
Abstract: The present invention comprises a cargo lift designed to allow an individual to lift heavy objects from the ground, onto the back of an all-terrain vehicle, without other mechanical assistance. The invention comprises a novel lifting mechanism based on an unconventional use of dampers that can be lowered into position using a small amount of force and can raise a heavy object without the use of hydraulic pumps, electricity, or other energy sources that may be impractical in remote areas. The lift stores the user's downward force as potential energy and releases that force as kinetic energy to lift the cargo.

  • Publication number: 20070288797
Abstract: A method generates test vectors for a customer designed integrated circuit having an embedded vendor circuit. The embedded vendor circuit has a proprietary circuit and a nonproprietary circuit. At least one pseudo input is defined to represent a portion of the nonproprietary circuit to emulate the nonproprietary circuit output. An output node of the embedded vendor circuit to which an input of the customer designed circuit is connectable is identified. A test netlist is created which represents circuitry that produces output states at the output node which would be generated by the embedded vendor circuit thereat. The test netlist includes at least one pseudo input and the output node, without including a full netlist of either the proprietary or nonproprietary circuits, and can be used to generate scan test vectors for the customer designed integrated circuit by the automatic test vector generating software program.

  • Publication number: 20070177989
Abstract: A pressure washer pump generally includes a pump housing that defines a cavity, an opening into the cavity and a bottom of the cavity generally opposite the opening. A valve assembly is disposed in the cavity through the opening. The valve assembly includes a cage member that contains a first valve mechanism. A plug member is received in the opening to fluidly seal the cavity of the pump housing. A compliant member is disposed between the plug member and the cage member. The cage member is disposed between the compliant member and the bottom of the cavity and spaced from the plug member.

  • Publication number: 20060107144
Abstract: A circuit and method for reducing the power consumed by module-based scan testing. In one embodiment constant data is provided to inputs, such as 33, of scan chains not used in testing, such as 32. Another embodiment is a method whereby transitions in a subset of scan chains, such as 32, are minimized through the use of constant input data.

  • Publication number: 20060028229
Abstract: A method for test data-driven detection of outlier semiconductor devices. Some illustrative embodiments may be a method used to test a semiconductor die comprising performing a burn-in test of a plurality of sample semiconductor dies to identify a failure of a defective semiconductor die, correlating variations in a parameter with the failure (the parameter comprising a characteristic associated with the plurality of sample semiconductor dies), defining a parameter constraint associated with the parameter, performing a production test of a production semiconductor die, and identifying the production semiconductor die as an outlier semiconductor die (the outlier semiconductor die passing the production test, but failing to conform to the parameter constraint).

  • Publication number: 20050108115
Abstract: A method of tracking automotive production in the manufacture of automotive vehicles (10) is provided. The method includes manufacturing a plurality of automotive vehicles along an assembly line (12). Each of the plurality of automotive vehicles having a build characteristic (13). The build characteristics varying among the plurality of automotive vehicles. The method includes installing a radio frequency transmitter within each of the plurality of automotive vehicles as they move along the assembly line (16). Each of the radio frequency transmitters generating a unique identifier signal (20). Associating each unique identifier signal with the build characteristics of one of the plurality of automotive vehicles (34). The method includes transferring the plurality of automotive vehicles to a plant storage lot as they exit the assembly line (14). The method includes receiving the unique identifier signals (30).

  • Patent number: 5062288
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for forming bends in a tube. A set of bend forming elements are mounted on each of a pair of parallel guideways. Each set of bend forming elements are interconnected by lazy tongs and a motor is provided to drive each set of bend forming elements along the guideways so that each set of bend forming elements may be moved together or separated while maintaining equal spacing between the elements. When a straight tube is placed between the sets of bend forming elements and the bend forming elements are driven together while the guideways simultaneously are driven apart, bends are formed in the tube to form the tube into a serpentine configuration. The bend forming elements have at least two different curvatures on their external surfaces so that the bends in the tube are formed in two stages with each of the different curvatures being sequentially operative to form the final bends in the tube.
