Patent number: 12084974Abstract: An air motor assembly includes an exhaust block with an exhaust port that conveys exhaust air into an exhaust manifold. The exhaust port includes an expansion chamber that creates a pressure drop in the exhaust gas, thereby decreasing the temperature of the exhaust gas. The expansion chamber is defined between a first wall that is tangential to the air motor cylinder and a second wall that is transverse to an axis of the exhaust port. Poppet valves control actuation of a shuttle. The poppet valves are disposed on the exterior of the air motor assembly and are thermally insulated from the air motor assembly.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 2022Date of Patent: September 10, 2024Assignee: Graco Minnesota Inc.Inventors: Martin P. McCormick, Benjamin J. Dauwalter, Kenneth C. Floer

Patent number: 9221669Abstract: A pumping system comprises an internal combustion engine, a generator, a pumping unit and a heat recovery system. The generator is driven by the internal combustion engine. The pumping unit is powered by the generator. The heat recovery system thermally couples the internal combustion engine with the pumping unit.Type: GrantFiled: June 15, 2012Date of Patent: December 29, 2015Assignee: Graco Minnesota Inc.Inventors: Joseph E. Tix, Mark T. Weinberger, Richard D. Anderson, Jeffrey N. Velgersdyk, Nicholas K. Studt, Gregory A. Regenscheld, Matthew R. Theisen, Kenneth C. Floer, Mark J. Brudevold, Arthur T. Graf

Patent number: 9162866Abstract: A dual pump fluid proportioner having an adjustable motor position comprises a mounting plate, first and second positive displacement pumps, first and second tie rods, a pump yoke and a motor. The first and second tie rods fixedly connect the first and second pumps to the mounting plate. The first and second pumps each have a pump shaft. The pump yoke slidably couples to the first and second tie rods and the pump shafts. The motor adjustably couples to the mounting plate and includes a drive shaft. The drive shaft extends from the motor, through the mounting plate to adjustably couple to the yoke.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 2011Date of Patent: October 20, 2015Assignee: Graco Minnesota Inc.Inventors: Martin P. McCormick, Ryan F. Butler, Kenneth C. Floer

Patent number: 7578411Abstract: A bail grip for a pivotal bail of a bucket in which the bail has a pair of bail legs and a central hook with an inverted shape. The bail grip comprises an arcuate body that is installed onto the upper ends of the bail legs with the arc of the bail grip body conforming to a common curve or arc of the upper ends of the bail legs. When in place, the bail grip body does not completely close off a recess formed by the hook. Instead, a rear side of the bail grip body has a notch adjacent the recess such that a locking pin used on a wall bracket from which the bucket is hung is still able to pass downwardly through the recess and along the notch formed in the rear side of the bail grip body.Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 2006Date of Patent: August 25, 2009Assignee: Miller Manufacturing Company, Inc.Inventors: Jerry J. Zien, Kenneth C. Floer
