Patent number: 12185496Abstract: An information technology equipment enclosure comprises a plurality of IT components, cold plates disposed over at least two of the IT components, and a cooling fluid manifold disposed within the IT equipment enclosure. The coolant liquid manifold has multiple input connectors and multiple output connectors. Each of the cold plates are coupled to the cooling fluid manifold using a coolant line attached to one of the input connectors and a coolant line attached to one of the output connectors. An input cooling liquid line couples the coolant liquid manifold to an output of an external liquid cooling system, and an output liquid line couples the coolant liquid manifold to an input of the external liquid cooling system. The coolant liquid manifold is configured to receive cooling fluid from the external liquid cooling system and to distribute the cooling fluid to all of the cold plates via the input connectors.Type: GrantFiled: July 20, 2022Date of Patent: December 31, 2024Assignee: Dell Products, L.P.Inventors: William Kenneth Coxe, III, Ben John Sy, Daniel Alvarado

Patent number: 9642437Abstract: Disclosed is a gravity flow spool valve for dispensing small volumes of liquid. The valve comprises an elongated hollow housing and a piston adapted to move within the interior of the housing. The piston has a first and second spool, spaced from each other using a coupling rod. The piston is coupled to an activation button which moves the piston from a dispense position to an intake position. In the intake position, the second spool is moved past a series of intake holes in the housing and fluid surrounding the holes flows into the chamber defined between the interior surface of the housing, the first spool and the second spool. When in the dispense position, the chamber is in communication with a spout and a ventilation hole which allows the fluid contained within the chamber to flow out the spout. One application of the valve is dispensing perfume samples.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 2015Date of Patent: May 9, 2017Inventors: Stephen Kenneth Cox, Swarnjit Chana

Publication number: 20120016926Abstract: Scalable techniques for rendering emissions represented using segments of streaming data, the emissions being potentially perceivable from many points of perception and the emissions and the points of perception having relationships that vary in real time. The techniques filter the segments by determining for a time slice whether a given emission is perceptible to a given point of perception. If it is not, the segments of streaming data representing the emission are not used to render the emissions as perceived from the given point of perception. The techniques are used in networked virtual environments to render audio emissions at clients in a networked virtual reality system. With audio emissions, one determinant of whether a given emission is perceivable at a given point of perception is whether psychoacoustic properties of other emissions mask the given emission.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 15, 2010Publication date: January 19, 2012Applicant: VIVOX INC.Inventors: James Toga, Siddhartha Gupta, Kenneth Cox, Rafal K.
