  • Patent number: 6695676
Abstract: A toy gun including a housing and a pair of drums rotatably mounted in the housing. Multiple drum splines provided on each of the drums mesh with the drum splines on the other drum, and a drive mechanism operably engages the drums for selectively rotating the drums. A bubble strip having a plurality of air bubbles can be advanced between the drums responsive to operation of the drive mechanism. The drums successively rupture the air bubbles, which simulates the firing of bullets, and create a repetitive popping sound which resembles the sound of rapid gunfire from an automatic gun.

  • Patent number: 6270160
Abstract: A head and neck support for engaging a leg of a seated person or the arm of a chair and comfortably supporting the head and neck of the person at a selected angle and height above his or her lap. In a preferred embodiment the head and neck support includes a head support tray which typically supports a pillow, upon which the head of the sitting person rests. The head support tray is pivotally and adjustably mounted on a cylindrical compression shaft fitting which adjustably receives the upper end of an extension shaft or a support shaft attached to the extension shaft and terminated on the bottom end by a curved support arm which typically engages the leg of the person. A compression sleeve is provided on the extension or support shaft for threadibly engaging and compressing the compression shaft fitting against the extension shaft or the support shaft after a selected length of the extension shaft or the support shaft is extended from the compression shaft fitting.

  • Patent number: 4941550
Abstract: A bearing lubricating device which is designed for attachment to the wheel bearing housing of a trailer or other vehicle to automatically lubricate the bearings in the bearing housing. The bearing lubricating device includes a cylindrical grease housing fitted with a spring-loaded piston and a piston plate extending from the piston, wherein the piston projects from the end of the grease housing. When grease is charged into the interior of the grease housing, the spring is compressed and forces the piston farther outwardly of the grease housing, to indicate that sufficient grease is provided in the grease housing for proper lubrication of the wheel bearings. In a first preferred embodiment of the invention a stop ring is provided in the housing to limit travel of the piston plate and piston in the housing and the projecting end of the piston is color-coded to indicate the grease content inside the grease housing. In a second preferred embodiment a retainer is attached to the piston for the same purpose.
