  • Patent number: 11933977
Abstract: Eyewear having an optical waveguide communicating infrared light from a remote infrared emitter in the eyewear to an optical output coupler that uniformly illuminates an eye for tracking eye movement of a user. An optical input coupler couples a light beam emitted by the remote infrared emitter into the waveguide. The remote infrared emitter simplifies industrial design and is a single light source. The remote infrared emitter is not in a peripheral vision of a user's eye and improves a cosmetic impact.

  • Patent number: 11288697
Abstract: Systems and methods for issuance of individualized promotional offers that can only be redeemed for purchase of specified items are disclosed. The promotional offers are only valid when they are used to purchase certain items. If an attempt to use the promotional offer is made and an authorized product is not part of the purchase transaction, the promotional offer will not be useable. Instead, the operator of the point-of-sale device that receives the promotional offer will not be able to validate the promotional offer. The validation of the promotional offer (when a correct item is part of the purchase) or lack thereof (when a correct item is not part of the purchase) occurs entirely at the point of sale, without requiring a point-of-sale device to communicate externally with any systems or devices to receive instructions relating to which products are authorized for use with the promotional offers.

  • Patent number: 10956637
Abstract: According to one or more embodiments, a method for adding parity protection for any uncovered latches of a circuit design is provided. The method includes determining latches that are not covered by current parity protection of the circuit design to output a list of the uncovered latches. The method includes executing a clustering operation that iteratively generates latch groupings according to physical design information and clock gating domains, and that outputs an updated design incorporating the latch groupings. Note that each latch grouping generates a corresponding parity bit to provide the parity protection to minimize adverse impacts on timing, routing, and power consumption of the circuit design. The method also includes adding the updated design with the parity protection to the circuit design to generate a final hardware design.

  • Publication number: 20210004804
Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating real-time item-specific application of a gift card balance to a purchase within a collaborative gift card network are described. Such methods permit restriction of gift cards and gift card balances to purchase of specific items. Collaborative systems are used to implement such methods, such as computer systems and networked computer system. Methods for facilitating item-specific application of a gift card balance may be performed using computer systems managed by a single entity as well as in distributed computing environments wherein aspects of the methods are implemented by disparate parties. Unique bank card number are associated with a promotional offer as well as item-specific information relating to authorized uses of the offer. When an offer is attempted to be redeemed, a secondary item-specific authorization check is performed in addition to a check of the validity of the overall promotional offer.
