  • Patent number: 9387913
Abstract: Systems and methods may include an enclosable, modular floating dry dock, which may comprise a plurality of floodable flotation modules coupled to a central support member at spaced intervals, such that gaps are formed between successive flotation modules. Each gap may be spanned by a deck and/or wall. A working volume may be defined between an interior of the floating dry dock and a supported watercraft. The working volume may be environmentally enclosed by drapes coupled to the dry dock.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 19, 2016
Date of Patent: July 12, 2016

  • Publication number: 20140283282
Abstract: A method for producing pantyhose and other nylon or spandex hosiery having long lasting antimicrobial and moisture-wicking properties. The method includes placing the pantyhose in a tub, adding a hydrophilic agent to the tub, adding an antimicrobial agent to the tub, adding dye mix and ammonia sulfate to the tub, heating contents of the tub until pores in the pantyhose expand to allow entry of hydrophilic agent molecules, antimicrobial agent molecules, and dye molecules, adding a color fixing agent to the tub, lowering a pH of the contents of the tub, and adding a softening mix to the tub.

  • Patent number: 8092551
Abstract: A method for producing pantyhose and other nylon or spandex hosiery with a long-lasting aloe finish is provided. A first step of the method is to place the pantyhose in a dye tub with a quantity of dye mix and ammonia sulfate. The contents of the dye tub are then heated until the pores in the nylon fibers of the pantyhose open and accept the dye molecules. A color fix is then added to the dye tub along with an acid substitute for creating a strong bond between the dye molecules and the nylon fibers. A softening mix containing a cationic nylon softener and a diluted silicone softener is then applied to the pantyhose. Lastly, an aloe finish containing a silicone micro-emulsion is added to the dye tub followed by another quantity of acid substitute for creating a strong bond between the aloe finish and the nylon fibers of the pantyhose.

  • Patent number: 7117803
Abstract: Apparatus (2) for the pyrolysis of material, which apparatus (2) comprises a pyrolysis chamber (4), an inlet (6) at a first end (8) of the pyrolysis chamber (4), an outlet (10) at a second end (12) of the pyrolisis chamber (4), and feed means (14) for feeding the material through the pyrolysis chamber (4), the feed means (14) comprising a cranked member (16), at least one elongate member (18) which extends along the pyrolysis chamber (4) between the inlet (6) and the outlet (10) and which has a first end (20) adjacet the (6) inlet and a second end (22) adjacent the outlet (10), a feed formation connected to the first end (20) of the elongate member (18), and connector means (24) which connects the send end (22) of the elongate member (18) to the cranked member (16), and the feed means (14) being such that rotation of the cranked member (16) causes the elongate member (18) to move backwards and forwards and the feed formation to move the material from the inlet (6) towards the outlet (10).
