    Abstract: In the conversion of a standard ignition distributor to a breakerless distributor advantage is taken of mounting apertures, preformed in the distributor rotor, to permit the selective mounting of one of a plurality of annular interrupter arrays. One purpose is to permit the use of a standardized rotor with which the selected interrupter array, corresponding to the number of engine cylinders, may be integrated via the preformed mounting apertures.
