    Abstract: A reinforced tubular article such as a hose is manufactured by at least partially vulcanizing a rubber composition to form an inner tube and forming on the outer surface of said inner tube an assembly of reinforcing members which are united with the inner tube by a solidifiable liquid polymer material which when solidified bonds to both the reinforcing members and the outer surface of the tube.
