Abstract: A luminaire downlight includes a housing and an outer ring that is disposed below and coupled to the housing using one or more fasteners. The outer ring secures one or more extension arms to the housing. The one or more extension arms are adapted to secure a shade to the luminaire downlight. Further, the luminaire downlight includes a light module that is disposed within and coupled to the housing via the outer ring. In particular, an inner surface of the outer ring is indexed to twist and lock the light module to the housing. Furthermore, the luminaire downlight includes a twist lock ring that is coupled to an inner surface of the light module. Additionally, the luminaire downlight includes a lens that is disposed below the outer ring and coupled to the twist lock ring.
