Abstract: A pellet delivery device may be used to insert a plurality of pellets into a cavity or incision in a patient. The pellet delivery device includes a trocar and a plunger, and delivers pellets from an interior lumen of the trocar and through a distal opening along a sidewall of the trocar. The pellet delivery device includes a ratcheting system or other suitable mechanism to control pellet delivery, prevent plunger backout and/or provide tactile feedback during a pellet insertion process, enabling a user to insert one or more pellets at different locations within an incision of a patient without removing the trocar from the incision.
