  • Publication number: 20170199387
Abstract: A wearable optical device, wherein the device is comprised of a center chamber, containing two mirrors or highly reflective surfaces, and two temple pieces and enables the user to view objects at a varying downward angle incident to their normal forward line-of-sight. The device restricts the wearer's forward line-of-sight to that of the reflected image. In addition, the device allows for the adjustment of the viewing angle as well as the length of the temple pieces for optimal viewing angle and comfort.

  • Patent number: 8307197
Abstract: A processor including a Boolean logic unit, wherein the Boolean logic unit is operated for performing the short-circuit evaluation of a Normal Form Boolean expression/operation, a plurality of input/output interfaces in communication with the Boolean logic unit, wherein the plurality of input/output interfaces are operated for receiving a plurality of compiled Boolean expressions/operations and transmitting a plurality of compiled results, and a plurality of registers coupled to the plurality of input/output interface circuits, wherein the plurality of multi-bit registers include an instruction register, a first address register and a second address register.

  • Publication number: 20120137108
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to placing a Boolean Processor on a chip with memory to eliminate memory latency issues in computing systems. An asynchronous implementation of a Boolean Processor Switched Memory can theoretically operate at terahertz speed and vastly improve the rate at which computationally relevant data is fed to a microprocessor or microcontroller. Boolean Processor Enhanced Memories hold the promise of increasing memory throughput by several orders of magnitude and shifting the burden of “catching up” to microprocessors and microcontrollers.

  • Publication number: 20080141007
Abstract: A processor including a Boolean logic unit, wherein the Boolean logic unit is operable for performing the short-circuit evaluation of Conjunctive Normal Form Boolean expressions/operations, a plurality of input/output interfaces, wherein the plurality of input/output interfaces are operable for receiving a plurality of compiled Boolean expressions/operations and transmitting a plurality of compiled results, and a plurality of registers. An associated processing method including starting an operation related to a Conjunctive Normal Form Boolean expression, wherein the Boolean expression comprises a conjunct, evaluating the conjunct, and selectively short-circuiting a portion of the Boolean expression.

  • Publication number: 20040039252
Abstract: The Self-Navigating Endotracheal Tube is an endotracheal tube that utilizes a light source and light measuring device to determine its location relative to a patient's trachea and esophagus. Using readings obtained via the light measurement device, a physician is capable of determining the proper insertion of the tube into a patient's trachea when a visual verification is not possible, as in the case of patients with spinal trauma, as well as the intubation of premature infants. It is also capable of providing an indication of self-extubation.

  • Patent number: 3989790
Abstract: A silicone rubber mold is prepared by applying a room temperature curable, dough-like silicone composition to an area of a pattern which is vulnerable to high stress and thereafter the remainder of the pattern is coated with a flowable silicone composition which is curable at room temperature. The mold is cured and ultimately separated from the pattern being copied. The resulting silicone rubber molds may be used for high frequency flow molding.
