Publication number: 20240146546Abstract: An asymmetric key cryptographic system is used to generate a cryptographic certificate for authenticating a memory module. This certificate is generated based on information, readable by the authenticator (e.g., host system), from at least one device on the memory module that is not read in order to obtain the certificate. For example, the certificate for authenticating a module may be stored in the nonvolatile memory of a serial presence detect device. The certificate itself, however, is based at least in part on information read from at least one other device on the memory module. Examples of this other device include a registering clock driver, DRAM device(s), and/or data buffer device(s). In an embodiment, the information read from a device (e.g., DRAM) may be based on one or more device fingerprint(s) derived from physical variations that occur naturally, and inevitably, during integrated circuit manufacturing.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 25, 2022Publication date: May 2, 2024Inventors: Scott C. Publication number: 20240095910Abstract: A plaque detection method and apparatus wherein at least one processor is programmed to receive above focus images to detect the presence of live cells without detecting the lysed cell materials, receive below focus images wherein virtual dark regions exist which are similar to cell shadows as seeds in a segmentation process and use contours around each resulting shape to obtain a subset that are more likely to be part of the cell population to define a cell map. A distance map is created in which each pixel value is the distance of that pixel from the nearest pixel of the cell map and the distance map is thresholded to create a first image of the places which are relatively far from the cells a second image with a smaller distance threshold to get an image that mimics the edges of the cells.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 1, 2022Publication date: March 21, 2024Applicant: Thrive Bioscience, Inc.Inventors: Kenneth CHAPMAN, Frank EVANS

Patent number: 11918993Abstract: Zero emission nested-loop (ZEN) reforming provides a scalable, eco-friendly process to produce high quality hydrogen at a relatively low operating cost. In one embodiment, a ZEN system comprises a reactor, a regenerator, and a photocatalytic reformer. During operation, the reactor receives a gas mixture and outputs hydrogen and catalyst adsorbed with carbon dioxide. The gas mixture is methane, steam, or hydrogen. Next, the regenerator receives the catalyst adsorbed with carbon dioxide and outputs carbon dioxide and desorbed catalyst. Next, the photocatalytic reformer receives carbon dioxide output by the regenerator and outputs methane and oxygen. The reactor receives at least some of the methane output by the photocatalytic reformer. By recycling methane in this way, the need for additional methane to fuel the system is reduced. The ZEN reforming system provides a novel technique to convert greenhouse gas emissions and carbon dioxide into oxygen and reusable methane gas.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2021Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: PURE SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGIES, LLCInventors: Michael Evan Siditsky, Kenneth Patrick Kelley
