  • Patent number: 6042484
Abstract: A golf club identification device for engagement with a golf club grip and a golf club shaft. A tubular element having a longitudinal slot engages the golf club shaft through the slot. A flange, integrally formed with respect to the tubular element, engages with the golf club grip. A label containing printed identification information may then be inserted within the tubular element or positioned on the tubular element. A lens may also be added to the tubular element to position and/or protect the label.

  • Patent number: 4643325
Abstract: The present invention pertains to the field of bail mounting structures. The bail mounting device of the present invention provides for an essentially non-removable bail. This non-removability is accomplished by a bail mounting device comprising an elongated planar member, an aperture in the planar member, a recess on the planar member concentric with the aperture, and a retaining means positioned in the recess for securing the bail into the mounting device. The mounting device is positioned in a mounting receptacle on a container. The bail is inserted through an aperture in the outer wall of the receptacle, through the elongated planar member, through the retaining means and finally nesting in a recess in the wall of the container, thus, providing a virtually non-removable bail for a container.

  • Patent number: 4345526
Abstract: An injection molded, foam plastic, knockdown display stand and shelf support. The display stand is formed from a set of shelves supported by a unique pair of interlocking complementary V-shaped shelf supports. The shelf supports and shelves are indexed to a central pole. The pole is joined to a base support. Each of the V-shaped shelf supports is identical. Each V-shaped shelf support defines edges for supporting the shelves and contains hooks for joining the shelf support to the pole. Several variations of hooks are described. The shelf supports can be used independently of the display stand to support multiple tiers of shelves.

  • Patent number: 4338866
Abstract: An injection molded, foam plastic, knock-down display stand. The display stand is formed from two major components. A V-shaped longitudinal member supports the shelves. The shelf supports have a number of open ended parallel slots. Joining two shelf supports together forms an X-shaped, free-standing shelf support column. Each shelf has an X-shaped opening to receive the shelf support column. Rotating the shelf through the slots joins the shelf to the shelf support column. Integral camming surfaces on the shelves lock the shelves and the shelf supports together to form a substantially erect display stand.

  • Patent number: 4288108
Abstract: A plastic conduit for protecting and directing electrical and telephone cables, employing elongated barrel portions with lipped ends and a snap-on coupling collar. Partition walls intergral with the conduit walls are used to divide the internal passageway of the conduit section. The partition walls are contoured at each end to interlock with the ends of adjacent conduit sections to provide column-like support. Gasketed ends seal the joint between the conduit section and coupling collar. Flanged ends index the coupling collar and limit axial movement and deflection. Interrupted peripheral lips and an interrupted annulus within the coupling collar provide for differential flaring out of the collar ends and corresponding necking-in of the conduit ends as the two are telescoped together. The lipped edges are received within the annulus of the coupling collar and snap fit into position. The snap fitting lips lock the conduit section to the coupling collar.

  • Patent number: 4281860
Abstract: A plastic conduit section of the bell and spigot variety for protecting electrical and communications cable, featuring paired, parallel, ridged spigots or channeled spigots, slotted bells, and resilient tie rods or keys to join adjacent conduit sections together. Interrupted peripheral keyways and resilient keys are used to join adjacent conduit sections together. These conduit sections may be internally divided into smaller subcompartments. A circumferential gasket seals the joint between the spigot and the bell ends. Flanged end surfaces limit axial movement and deflection. Lipped ends index and seat adjacent conduit sections for subsequent joining.

  • Patent number: 4185424
Abstract: A one-piece molded plastic stake includes a slender elongate body formed of four integral webs which taper inwardly from a rounded striking surface at the trailing end of the stake to an intermediate point of the stake where the webs extend outwardly to provide a shoulder to resist pullout, once the stake has been driven into the ground. The webs taper inwardy from the outer ends of the outwardly extending portions and merge at a point at the leading end of the stake. Reinforcing portions are provided between the webs at the trailing end of the stake and provide for an enlarged striking area.

  • Patent number: 4019760
Abstract: A device is disclosed which is suitable for connecting a multiple bore conduit, buried in the ground, to a manhole having a vertical wall. An adapter is embedded in the manhole wall and has outwardly directed ribs to prevent movement of the adapter perpendicularly to the manhole wall. The conduit has a rib, and a coupling sleeve is positioned about the rib and is juxtaposed to the outside surface of the conduit along an end segment of the conduit, with a gasket seal such as an O-ring being disposed between the coupling sleeve and conduit to create a seal therebetween. An adhesive is applied to an end segment of the outer surface of the coupling sleeve, and the conduit and coupling sleeve are inserted into an end portion of the adapter. The adhesive causes the coupling sleeve to be bonded to the adapter, with a seal being created therebetween, whereby the conduit is mechanically attached to the coupling sleeve which is secured to the adapter, and a seal is created between the conduit and adapter.

  • Patent number: 4002358
Abstract: An adapter is disclosed for connecting a multi-passage conduit section to a plurality of single bore pipes. Both the conduit and the adapter have partition walls forming passageways, and the adapter has a male end receivable in the female end of the conduit. The partition walls at the male end of the adapter are generally rectangular and correspond in configuration to the partition walls at the female end of the conduit, whereas the partition walls at the opposite end of the adapter along with the enclosing walls of the adapter define a plurality of cylindrical sleeves into which pipe sections are receivable. The partition walls taper generally uniformly from a generally rectangular to a cylindrical configuration. The pipe sections can be coupled to single bore pipes.
