  • Publication number: 20220165471
Abstract: An inductor comprises a base having a top surface, a bottom surface, and at least one side surface. The top surface is spaced from the bottom surface. The at least one side surface connects the top surface to the bottom surface. A core is located on the top surface and coupled to the base. At least one coil extends helically about the core. The at least one coil has at least one end extending outwardly from said core. At least one lead is coupled to the at least one coil and extending outwardly from the base in a coplanar relationship with the bottom surface. A circuit card assembly including the inductor and a method of manufacturing the circuit card assembly are also disclosed herein.

  • Patent number: 7806015
Abstract: A control system for a vehicle transmission implements a method of controlling the transmission. The system includes a device for selecting the desired operating mode of the transmission, such as a gear shift lever, and a transmission sensor for sensing the actual operating mode of the transmission. A display is in communication with the device and the transmission sensor and displays both the desired operating mode and the actual operating mode of the transmission. A controller is in communication with the transmission and controls the operating mode of the transmission. An occupancy sensor, in communication with the controller, verifies that the driver is in the driver seat before the controller allows the transmission to be shifted out of a park mode.

  • Patent number: 7347709
Abstract: A connector assembly for connecting an electrical terminal to a terminal receiver includes a body portion having a first surface including a biasable lock member extending therefrom and a second surface defining a plurality of recesses. The connector assembly also includes a securing member having a plurality of finger portions with one of the finger portions disposed in each of the recesses so as to prevent or lessen any movement of the electrical terminal relative to the terminal receiver within the recess. The securing member has a locking tab member that can engage and pivot the lock member for locking the securing member to the body portion.

  • Patent number: 6945377
Abstract: An integrated gear shift selector switch assembly for an automotive vehicle includes a park position switch and a brake transmission shift interlock switch combined in a unitized housing as an integrated structure. The park position switch has a movable component that moves within the housing between a park and non-park position corresponding to a movement of a gear shift selector lever from a park to at least one non-park position. The brake transmission shift interlock switch also has a movable component supported by the switch housing for movement in to and out of selective locking engagement with the movable component of the park position switch to selectively unlock and lock the gear shift selector lever in the park position.
