  • Patent number: 11930821
Abstract: An antimicrobial cover system for tubular structures includes a pair of identical cover portions. Each cover portion's outer surface is defined by an antimicrobial material and its inner surface is longitudinally corrugated. Each cover portion has a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge. The first longitudinal edge includes a first tab and a first socket, and the second longitudinal edge includes a second tab and a second socket. When the cover portions are adapted to encase a tubular structure, the first tab of a first of the cover portions is engaged in the second socket of a second of the cover portions, and the second tab of the second of the cover portions is engaged in the first socket of the first of the cover portions.

  • Patent number: 11278112
Abstract: An overbed table top includes a monolithic portion and a laminate portion. The monolithic portion has a top surface, a bottom surface, and an edge surface. The bottom surface includes an open cavity where a peripheral region of the bottom surface circumscribes the open cavity. The monolithic portion is an antimicrobial material. The laminate portion is disposed in the open cavity and is coupled to the monolithic portion. The laminate portion includes an exposed layer of a moisture impervious material coupled to a hidden layer of a wood-based material that can support fasteners used to attach the overbed table top to a frame.

  • Publication number: 20190175795
Abstract: A flexible body-insertable cable includes conduits and cables. Each conduit has an antimicrobial material defining interior wall surfaces thereof. Each cable provides a function selected from the group consisting of mechanical functions, electrical functions, and optical functions. A solid antimicrobial material encases each of the conduits and each of the cables for retaining the conduits and cables in a spaced-apart and longitudinally-extending arrangement along a length of the solid antimicrobial material.
