  • Patent number: 10867487
Abstract: A method is presented for alerting persons of an emergency situation in a public space having an emergency colored-lighting alarm system. In response to a user actuating an alarm panel to indicate a type of emergency, the colored-lighting alarm system displays a color-coded lighting message corresponding to the emergency type. The color-coded message can include repeatedly or alternatingly emitting a colored light.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 17, 2019
Date of Patent: December 15, 2020

  • Publication number: 20170370193
Abstract: Utilizing multiple rock cores samples obtained while drilling a well to determine the mechanical properties of the rock constituting the wellbore and formation zones within the wellbore. A geomechanical model is created from the samples by nanoindentation testing to provide the raw data from which the geomechanical model is then created.

  • Publication number: 20070214213
Abstract: The invention is a personal wireless network that generally compnses at least a lightweight wireless client to send and receive audio and video from another system component. The personal wireless network also provides a wireless-enabled routing component, which stands alone to route traffic within the personal wireless network. Also provided is a transmitter component that connects to a computing device, such as a server and sends and receives data Furthermore, a software algorithm provides a method for supporting a personal wireless network.

  • Publication number: 20070115097
Abstract: The invention is a system that provides a means to open and close a lock using a security key algorithm. The security key algorithm, is a method, that uses location based and time based data to create a unique security key. Once the security key is created, the security key algorithm monitors the security key system's location and opens and closes the lock according to the security key's parameters. The security key device is an object, such as a security container, wherein the security key system is integrated within or is removably attached thereto.

  • Patent number: 7043634
Abstract: When a file is created on a computer, an archive copy of that file is also created and separately stored. Upon a subsequent access to the active copy of that file, a comparison between the active copy and the full archived copy is made to detect any changes. If there are not any changes, then the active copy of the file is assumed to be clean from malicious alteration and the access request is permitted. If an alteration has been made and is detected, then further countermeasures are triggered, such as full virus scanning of that file or blocking of its use. This archiving and comparison technique may be selectively applied to a subset of file types, such as executable files and dynamic link libraries, which are known to be infrequently modified during normal user operations.
