  • Publication number: 20250330523
Abstract: Techniques for devices in autonomous systems to utilize a protocol, such as a Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), to signal intent to instantiate services for establishing connections between the devices. For instance, first device(s) in a first autonomous system (AS) may determine to establish a connection with a second AS. The first device(s) may encode a service key into an Internet Protocol (IP) address where the service key indicates a service that is to be provisioned on second device(s) in the second AS. The first device(s) system may then advertise the IP address host-route using BGP, and the second device(s) may receive the BGP advertisement. The second device(s) may decode the service key from the IP address, and provision the service to establish the connection between the autonomous systems. Thus, the devices in may leverage existing protocols to signal intent to instantiate services and establish connections between autonomous systems.

  • Patent number: 11570062
Abstract: In one embodiment, a network quality assessment service that monitors a network obtains multimodal data indicative of a plurality of measurements from the network and subjective perceptions of the network by users of the network. The network quality assessment service uses the obtained multimodal data as input to one or more neural network-based models. The network quality assessment service maps, using a conceptual space, outputs of the one or more neural network-based models to symbols. The network quality assessment service applies a symbolic reasoning engine to the symbols, to generate a conclusion regarding the monitored network. The network quality assessment service provides an indication of the conclusion to a user interface.

  • Publication number: 20210346730
Abstract: The design is a soft flexible mask made from recyclable material that is easy to wash for re-use. It has a soft interior cavity and a hard center puck which allow for a superior seal and options for a variation of filter type and thickness. It is designed in a way that filter options and mask configuration can filter both inhalation and exhalation. It has a soft extended in-folded lip for superior seal on the face.

  • Publication number: 20070244012
Abstract: A compact, solid-state THz source based on the driven Josephson vortex lattice in a highly anisotropic superconductor such as Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 that allows cw emission at tunable frequency. A second order metallic Bragg grating is used to achieve impedance matching and to induce surface emission of THz-radiation from a Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 sample. Steering of the emitted THz beam is accomplished by tuning the Josephson vortex spacing around the grating period using a superimposed magnetic control field.

  • Patent number: 4626658
Abstract: An electrically heated tool for heating a pipe connector sleeve in order to melt solder therein or applied thereto to secure the sleeve to a pipe has a pair of arms (1) hingedly connected to one another between their ends by a pin (2) in the manner of pliers. An electric heating unit (3) having an elongated shaft portion (9) enclosing an electric resistance heating element is detachably secured to and projects from one and the same end of each arm. The free end of each shaft portion (9) is detachably slidably inserted into the tubular shank of a metallic head part (4) having a semi-circular recess (4a) of a radius substantially equal to the radius of the pipe or sleeve to be heated. The arms are movable between an open position in which the recesses are spaced apart and a position in which the recesses are closed together around a pipe connector sleeve so as to apply heat thereto.

  • Patent number: 4584765
Abstract: Apparatus for expanding hairpin tubes into a fin pack unit that involves a special clamping fixture for securing the belled ends of the tubes to hold the ends of the tubes immobile as tube expanders are passed through the tubes to expand the tube walls in the fin plates and tube sheets of the unit. The tubes are expanded in tension which permits the bells to be formed against one of the tube sheets thereby eliminating the weakest region in the heat exchanger flow circuit.
