Abstract: A system for vehicular finance compliance and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the system, onboard vehicle disabling devices are respectively located in vehicles under finance by a vehicle lending institution. A server is located in communication with the onboard vehicle disabling devices, a vehicle financing database, and a vehicle identification number database. The server receives information regarding payments made by a vehicle purchaser relative to a vehicle of interest. The server also receives information relative to the location of the vehicle.
