  • Patent number: 9564761
Abstract: A battery assembly has a command module with a power connection interface and a battery matrix interface. A battery matrix has a plurality of battery cells, an electrically erasable programmable read only memory (EEPROM) and a command module interface. The battery matrix interface may be removably interconnected with the command module interface, enabling power delivery from the battery matrix through the command module to the power connection interface and review of the EEPROM for capacity feedback with respect to remaining electrical power of the battery matrix.

    Filed: November 21, 2014
Date of Patent: February 7, 2017
    Assignee: PALLADIUM ENERGY, INC.
Inventors: Albert Nicholas Hopfer, III, William Mark Batts, Kenneth Habegger

  • Patent number: 8927137
Abstract: A battery matrix provided with a plurality of battery cells; each of the battery cells provided with a positive terminal and a negative terminal. A positive trace grid and a negative trace grid, each provided as a conductive mesh with an array of apertures forming a plurality of alternative conductive paths across each of the positive and negative trace grids. Each of the battery cells coupled at the positive terminal to a positive trace pad of the positive trace grid and at the negative terminal to a negative trace pad of the negative trace grid. Alternatively, an intermediate trace grid may be introduced so that successive rows of the battery cells are coupled electrically in series with one another.
