  • Publication number: 20160067875
Abstract: An interlocked assembly of a circular collar receivable in suspension within a sink drain fitting and an annular support slidably engaged to the collar cooperate to form a guide aligning the blade of a shaft mounted rotary cutting tool adjacent the seat of a retaining ring that holds the fitting in place. The sliding translation of the annular support within the collar is limited by an idler wheel mounted for rotation on said shaft radially projecting ring to limit the penetration depth of the rotary saw cut thus limiting the incidence of damage to the surrounding sink structure.

  • Patent number: 8661642
Abstract: A tool for installing a retainer ring onto the lower portion of a loosely inserted drain fitting for engaging a mounting flange thereto includes a generally resilient cup structure provided with a plurality of axially aligned and resiliently cantilevered peripherally adjacent strips within which the retaining ring is received in a compressed engagement seated on a helical interior shoulder. A threaded rod extends through a centering plug received in the drain fitting and then through the cup interior to axially advance the axially aligned ring carried by the strips.

  • Patent number: 7140086
Abstract: A support assembly useful in supporting a plumbing fixture in the course of effecting connections thereto includes a base provided with a vertical tube segment supporting a nut assembly threadably engaged to a rod partly received in the segment with the upper rod end supporting an adapter conformed to the supported fixture. An offset bar fixed to the rod exterior engages a lateral recess on the segment to fix the rod in rotation as the nut assembly is turned. The assembly may include rods of differing lengths and adapters of various forms.

  • Patent number: 4565305
Abstract: A rotary vane valve having a cylindrical housing with a pair of opposed end bells and an interior axial shaft. Opposed inlet and outlet openings on the side of the cylindrical housing allow transverse fluid flow through the housing and radial vanes project from the axial shaft to facilitate the transfer of fluid from the inlet at one pressure to the outlet at a different pressure. A pair of spaced shroud structures are fixed to the shaft at the ends of the vanes to generally separate the interior of the cylindrical housing from the end bells.
