  • Publication number: 20230125885
Abstract: A support system for an intraocular lens (IOL) comprising a primary intraocular ring (PIR) mountable to an eye and a secondary device (SD), the SD in communication with the PIR and movable relative to the PIR. The movement can be one or more of rotation, forward-backward movement, decentralization, tilt and angulation. The IOL can be controllably and non-invasively moved relative to the PIR, with the movement being one or more of rotation, forward-backward movement, decentralization, tilt and angulation.

  • Publication number: 20190244778
Abstract: A circuit breaker or conductor severing assembly can include a housing with a conductor extending through the housing. A piston disposed within the interior of the housing can be actuable within the housing between a first position and a second position, driven by a volume expansion composition. The piston can include a cutter, such that actuation to the second position can sever the conductor extending through the housing.

  • Patent number: 9803537
Abstract: A piston for use in 4 Cycle reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines. The one embodiment includes a multifunctional Engraving or Imprint that is machined into the crown of the piston. This “Imprint” consists of concentric circles of metal removed in a machining process resulting in the compartments of the functional areas within the crown of the piston connected by either the height and or cross drillings within the Imprint. The functional result is to create low and high pressure zones within the crown of the piston as it proceeds upward on the compression stroke facilitating the creation of an active moving rotational swirl in the outer 25% on the top surface area of the piston circumference. The active swirl pattern results in ultimate homogenization of the air fuel mixture leaving no area of the combustion chamber with weak or separated air and fuel molecules resulting in enhanced power and complete combustion.

  • Patent number: 9692193
Abstract: A sealed feedthrough connector can include a non-conductive clamp plate having at least one first conductor aperture and further including at least one conductor having a first end connecting to electronics in a high-power electronics chassis. The conductor can include a second end connecting to a circuit external to the electronics chassis, with a shoulder between the first and second ends. The connector can include a non-conductive terminal panel, a plate seal, and a conductor seal, the terminal panel having at least one second conductor aperture. The non-conductive clamp plate can be secured to the non-conductive terminal panel with a wall of the electronics chassis and the plate seal between them. At least one conductor can extend the first end through the first conductor aperture and the second end through the second conductor aperture, the conductor seal being positioned between the shoulder and the clamp plate or the terminal panel.

  • Patent number: 9234796
Abstract: A low-radiance infrared airborne calibration reference is an infrared imaging and calibration method. The method includes positioning a mirror perpendicular to an optical axis of a focal plane array in both an open-face position and a mirror-reading position. Temperatures of a lens, window, and the mirror are determined. In-band radiance and offset is calculated to generate an adjusted calibration curve.
