Abstract: A portable game feeder hoist and hunting stand is provided with an upstanding support member connected to a horizontal support arm that is attachable to a tree with a chain. The game feeder hoist has a winch that is removably attached to the horizontal support arm, from which a hoist line extends. The winch preferably includes a worm gear meshed with a worm screw operatively coupled to a worm screw shaft configured to removeably connect to a receiving socket, which is adapted to securely receive a keyed end of an elongated drive shaft, in a lock and key style arrangement. A tree sizing strap and hook apparatus is provided with graphic identification markers to aid hunters in accessing the size of tree trunks from which they intend to mount a game feeder hoist and hunting stand. The strap includes a hook from which to temporarily hang the portable game feeder hoist against the tree trunk while attaching the hoist to the tree with a chain.

Abstract: A replacement cylinder that enables the use of modem smokeless gunpowder in a black powder muzzle-loading revolver is provided. The cylinder includes a main cylinder body and a removable cylinder cap. The main cylinder body includes a number of chambers, each of which having a projectile portion, a propellant portion and a primer portion. The cylinder cap includes a number of captured firing pins positioned therein. During operation, the cylinder cap is allowed to axially translate relative to the main cylinder body. A method of muzzle-loading the cylinder of the invention using modern smokeless gunpowder and a primer is also provided and is facilitated by the provision of a loading plate.

Abstract: The invention is a component of a subsurface traveling barrel bottom anchor pump comprising a traveling valve assembly which includes: a cylindrical valve body having a lower section, the lower section having a central bore therethrough and external threads which interact with a threaded connection on a traveling barrel to removably attach the valve body to the traveling barrel; an upper section having a rod connection externally threaded for attachment to a pumping rod; a center section having a fishing neck portion and cage portion; a valve cage accommodated entirely within the internal portion of the cage portion; a valve ball positioned within the valve cage; a valve seat abutting the valve cage; and a ball and seat plug threaded into the lower section of the valve body for retaining the valve seat in the valve body.

Abstract: An apparatus for merging two or more parallel conveyor lanes of product into one final lane includes a pair of parallel conveyors, one disposed above and in spaced relationship over the other. A pivotally mounted slide at the discharge end of the first conveyor feeds product from the first conveyor to the second conveyor. A timing member is pivotally mounted above the second conveyor for engagement with product flowing along the second conveyor at a preselected position beneath the discharge end of the slide and upon engagement with product on the second conveyor simultaneously engages with the slide to force the slide out of a feeding position. The slide is provided with at least one lifting tab thereon for engaging with at least one arm of a pivotally attached stop member whereby engagement or disengagement of the tabs with the arm of the stop member determines the position of the stop member in relationship with product moving along the first conveyor.
