  • Publication number: 20230232735
Abstract: An outdoor power equipment with steering and/or speed controlled via foot-based inputs is discussed. One example embodiment is an outdoor power equipment, comprising: a frame; a plurality of drive elements coupled to the frame; a prime mover configured to provide power to the plurality of drive elements; one or more controls configured to receive foot-based inputs from an operator of the outdoor power equipment; and a control system configured to control a steering and a speed of the outdoor power equipment based on the foot-based inputs. Various foot-based embodiments and control systems can be employed based on the embodiment.

  • Publication number: 20140163540
Abstract: An ultrasound apparatus is provided for non-continuous circumferential treatment of a vessel, such to provide denervation of a renal blood vessel. The apparatus may be positioned within a vessel to deliver broad unfocused or focused ultrasonic energy at first and second lengthwise and angular positions to create a less-than-full circumferential treatment zone at each of the first and second positions. Superimposition of treatment zones defines a non-continuous circumferential treatment zone without formation of a continuous circumferential lesion.

  • Patent number: 8528399
Abstract: A flow-through sensing apparatus includes a flow-head and a sensor that are configured to be selectively coupled through use of a quick-disconnect mechanical coupling. When the sensor is coupled with the flow-head, the sensor cooperates with the flow-head to at least partially define a sensing chamber. The sensor is configured to determine a process parameter, such as refractive index, regarding a substance in the sensing chamber.
