  • Publication number: 20150068007
Abstract: A plunger shoe for insertion and removal of plungers in a plunger pump comprises an elongated trough having an enlarged width section at one end. When inserted into the cylinder of a plunger pump, the trough rests within the cylinder and the enlarged width section rests in a corresponding section in the cylinder head. A plunger may be easily slid along the valley of the trough and through the opening in the seal element in the cylinder. A hole in the enlarged width section forms a handle.

  • Publication number: 20130284124
Abstract: A power unit for generation of electric current is disclosed. A hydraulic motor, powered by a source of pressurized hydraulic fluid, is coupled to and turns a generator, producing direct or alternating electric current. The hydraulic motor and generator are mounted on a base section, which in turn can be mounted on a desired surface, for example a trailer used in connection with hydraulic fracturing operations on oil and gas wells. A cover is hingedly connected to the base section, and in a first position is swung into a closed position covering the hydraulic motor and electric generator. With the cover in a second, open position, easy access is had to the the hydraulic motor and electric generator. Instrumentation showing operating conditions of the hydraulic motor and electric generator may be mounted in one or more openings in the cover.

  • Publication number: 20130037473
Abstract: A fuel filter support structure, particularly suited for use in conjunction with turbine engines, has a base portion, two spaced apart walls extending outwardly from the base portion, and a catch pan underlying the two walls. Two separate banks of fuel filters can be mounted on the walls, and positioned over the catch pan. The catch pan catches any fuel, etc. which may escape during the process of changing the fuel filters, and funnels same toward a central opening where it can be caught in a container. A fuel catch tank is preferably incorporated into the structure.
