    Abstract: An improved mandrel assembly construction for use in an isostatic press. The compacted body is pressed onto the mandrel and an improved assembly is utilized to free the body from the mandrel and remove the body from the tooling so that the body can be subjected to further processing. A pressure intensifier is used to apply pressure to the mold bodies and a separate air spring is used to return the pressure intensifier piston to its original position.
