Abstract: Embodiments are directed to an antenna builder and a method of building and maintaining an antenna design repository. A first embodiment consists of an antenna builder that enables the creation of an antenna representation that can subsequently be output into a plurality of formats to be used by other tools, such as electromagnetic simulation software. An alternative embodiment is directed to a method of building and maintaining a repository of antenna designs. The repository of antenna designs can be queried, enabling a plurality of users to search for specific antenna designs. Alternative embodiments can enable a user to search the repository antenna designs by visually browsing over the antenna designs in the repository. The repository of antenna designs is created by saving solutions generated by an optimizer during an optimization run to the repository. Solutions from the repository can also be used to seed and bootstrap other optimization runs.

Abstract: A toner replenishment apparatus for a dry electrophotographic (EP) printer includes a rotatable transport subsystem in the developer. The subsystem includes an elongated housing with a feed port and various apertures arranged along its length. A channel within the housing receives toner from the toner supply through the feed port. A toner transport member in the channel moves toner received through the feed port to the apertures, and a developer-mixing member attached to the outside of the housing mixes toner and carrier particles in the developer. The toner transport member is stationary or rotates at a different angular velocity than the housing. When the rotation of the transport subsystem brings a selected one of the apertures below the center of the housing, toner passes through the selected aperture into the developer in the sump, and is mixed into the developer by the developer-mixing member as the transport subsystem rotates.

The development station includes a housing, a rotatable mixer assembly located in a developer material reservoir within the housing, a developer device for applying developer material to an electrostatic image to be developed, a rotatable transport mechanism for moving developer material from the reservoir to the developer device, and a drive mechanism for rotating the rotatable mixer, the rotatable transport mechanism, and the developer device. The adjustment mechanism describes a first locating device for adjustably positioning the drive mechanism relative to the reservoir of the development station housing, and a second locating device for adjustably positioning the rotatable mixer and the rotatable transport mechanism relative to the development station housing.
