  • Patent number: 8251603
Abstract: A squeegee apparatus for coating mixed materials on a surface is used in combination with a source of pressurized activator and resin in fluid communication with a mixing tube having an outlet. The squeegee apparatus includes a manifold in fluid communication with the outlet of the mixing tube. The squeegee is held by either the manifold or a handle. At least one distribution tube is provided to distribute the coated material, where the tube has a length with a plurality of holes to dispense the mixed materials during use. The distribution tube is fluid communication with the outlet of the mixing tube, with the distribution tube being fastened to the manifold. Moreover, an elongated squeegee is fastened to the manifold. The squeegee has an edge configured to spread the mixed materials during use. The distribution tube and the squeegee edge are aligned along substantially parallel axes and held in fixed relationship to each other by the manifold.

  • Publication number: 20070217856
Abstract: A portable cart is provided for roller application viscous coating material using a pressure feed roller. The cart holds a resin container and an activator container, each of which is separately but optionally heated. Material transfer lines run from the containers to a static mixing tube connected to a pressure fed rolling element removably connected to a handle. One or more motors drive one or more pumps to pump the activator and resin through the static mixing tube and rolling element. A switch on the handle controls the pumps and thus controls the material supplied to the rolling element.

  • Publication number: 20070045289
Abstract: A portable cart is provided for spraying viscous coating material. The cart holds a resin container and an activator container, each of which is separately heated by conduction. Material transfer lines run from the containers to a spray gun, and the lines are heated. A gas tank and pressure regulator provide compressed gas to the spray gun for spraying the coating material. The spray gun is a positive displacement gun. A direct current, double stack, low-ramp motor drives two material transfer pumps to force the resin and activator through the lines to the spray gun. The two pumps are each driven through a separate helicoidal gear box. A single 110 volt AC input provides the power for the entire cart.
