Abstract: A metering module for use in a power circuit monitoring system including a circuit monitor having a processor for processing data related to power signals, said metering module comprising at least one sensor for sensing a predetermined property of a power signal and for producing a corresponding sensor signal, and a modular metering circuit for producing data corresponding to said sensor signal for input into said circuit monitor, wherein said metering module is selectively detachable and replaceable relative to said circuit monitor to permit one or more of testing, calibration and repair of said metering module thereby minimizing any interruption in operation of said circuit monitor.

Abstract: The slide element of a termination tool is modified to include an outer torque/slide body portion, thereby forming a combination--torque and slide--element, which provides the auxiliary capability of imparting torque to an engageable hardware element, such as slotted end or cross-point end screwdriver bit, thereby enabling the tool used to drive commonly used hardware fasteners. The interior bore of the handle in which a slide element is normally axially translatable is modified to capture respective halves of a protective sleeve element. The protective sleeve element is shaped to conform with the shape of a torque/slide body portion of the torque/slide element. The torque/slide element is preferably metallic (e.g. steel) and is generally cylindrically shaped, having a longitudinal axis that is alignable with the longitudinal axis of the tool.
