Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for traffic processing to improve the overall performance of data traffic network. The method comprises receiving a traffic having data width narrower than or equal to a predetermined data width; reformatting the received traffic into bus traffic of said predetermined data width; recognizing a specific traffic within the bus traffic; processing the bus traffic; prioritizing the specific traffic, such as voice traffic, over other traffic in said bus traffic; and outputting the bus traffic according to the prioritizing result. Thus, the method secures network resources for voice traffic and avoids frame flooding which may otherwise cause system breakdown. Further disclosed herein is a system for traffic processing.
