  • Publication number: 20180082547
Abstract: An electronic slot machine, having a display for displaying a plurality of symbols arrayed in at least three vertical columns of symbols, and at least three horizontal rows of symbols where game play is initiated by selecting a sequence for sequentially spinning selected columns and rows up to three total. The resulting display of symbols are analyzed to determine whether the array of symbols constitute a winning combination. Additional game playing occurs when the player selects a new sequence of rows and columns for spinning to achieve a new set of symbols for analysis to determine a winning combination.

  • Patent number: 7186180
Abstract: In one aspect, the invention is directed to a method for providing a lottery game for a plurality of players. The method may include accepting an entry from each of the plurality of players for an occurrence of the lottery game, and each entry may include a predetermined number of multi-digit entry numbers. The method may further include determining an outcome for the occurrence of the lottery game, and the outcome for the occurrence of the lottery game may include selecting a predetermined number of multi-digit drawing numbers. Still further, the method may include comparing the multi-digit entry numbers for each entry to the multi-digit drawing numbers for the occurrence of the lottery game, and determining whether each entry is a winning entry based on the level of correspondence between entry numbers and the drawing numbers.

  • Patent number: 5971271
Abstract: A system for expanding the operation and play of gaming devices such as slot machines is disclosed. It employs an enhanced gaming device including an audio and a video channel between the gaming device and a central location manned by one or more concierges who can communicate with the player, answer questions, make reservations and, in general, attend to the requests of the player. Selected video displays under the control of the concierge are substituted for the normal video display such as a pay table at the gaming device. Communication is initiated by the player by lifting a handset, operating a call button or by inserting a club card into a card slot. Any of these actions will place the call in a queue for answering. If a club card was inserted, player data is displayed before a concierge and the player views an image of the concierge. Player requests may then be addressed. Other calls are likewise addressed. Machine malfunction, jackpot win and coin in/coin out data also trigger concierge response.
