  • Patent number: 9810248
Abstract: Control fluid power apparatus and related methods are disclosed. An example control fluid power apparatus includes a first housing having a first piston defining a first chamber and a second chamber, where the first chamber receives a control fluid and the second chamber receives a process fluid from a process system. The first chamber is oriented above the second chamber when the control fluid power apparatus is coupled to a control valve assembly. A second housing has a second piston defining a third chamber and a fourth chamber, where the third chamber receives the control fluid and the second chamber receives the process fluid. The third chamber is oriented above the fourth chamber when the control fluid power apparatus is coupled to the control valve assembly.

  • Patent number: 8267123
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to charge accumulators are described. An example system to charge an accumulator apparatus includes a piston disposed within a housing to define a first chamber adjacent a first side of the piston and a second chamber adjacent a second side of the piston. A fill probe having a body and a passageway between a first end of the fill probe and a second end of the fill probe removably couples to the piston to fluidly couple to the passageway of the fill probe to the second chamber of the housing when the accumulator is in a charging condition. A valve is fluidly coupled to the piston to enable fluid flow to the second chamber of the housing via the piston when the fill probe is coupled to the piston.

  • Publication number: 20090211621
Abstract: A removable magnetically attached solar collector sheet system comprises a thin film, organic and printable photovoltaic sheet attached to a flexible magnetic sheet. The system removably attaches to any metal surface magnetically, conforms to that surface, and connects into the power supply of that object, such as homes, vehicles, commercial buildings, light poles, and other industrial applications.

  • Publication number: 20070019415
Abstract: A new and unique LED-based floodlight is provided having an LED light module and a control module. In operation, the LED light module responses to one or more control signals from the control module, and provides an LED array of light having a broad beam pattern from side-to-side with a selected lamp color, brightness, or some combination thereof; while the control module responds to one or more user inputs from a user, and provides the one or more control signals for operating the LED array module in order to provide the LED array of light having the broad beam pattern from side-to-side with the selected lamp color, brightness, or some combination thereof. The broad beam pattern of the LED array of light effectively has a lumen output of about 200 lumens that is equivalent to a 35 watt halogen floodlight output of the same angle.

  • Patent number: 4930224
Abstract: An improved magnetic compass unit consists of a compass bowl, a card assembly pivotally supported on a pivot shaft within the bowl, the card assembly consisting of a compass card and a magnet, and at least one active indicator pin adapted for alignment with the lubber line of a supporting vehicle and with an adjacent degree indicia line upon the compass card. The active indicator pin is mounted to pivot apart from the pivotally mounted compass assembly, whereby the indicator pin remains disposed generally in a common plane with the adjacent degree indicia line during conditions of compass roll. The card assembly may be with or without gimbal mounting.
