  • Publication number: 20240065649
Abstract: While performing a tomosynthesis procedure, the breast of a patient is compressed between two compression elements to create an imaging condition. Foam is secured to the rigid substrate of a one of the compression elements. The patient's chest wall is aligned with the leading edge surface of the foam. The inner side of the breast is disposed proximate the lateral edge surface of the foam and the outer side of the breast is disposed proximate the outer lateral edge surface of the foam. A mid-plane is disposed between the inner and outer lateral edge surfaces of the foam. An interface connects a leading edge surface of the foam and compressive surfaces. A portion of the leading edge surface which is aligned with the mid-plane is incompletely compressed.

  • Patent number: 11634307
Abstract: A tire lifting assembly used to remove and replace a wheel and a tire on a vehicle is disclosed. The tire lifting assembly is configured to take the weight of the wheel and the tire when the service technician removes or replaces it thereby eliminating the need for manual efforts from a service technician. The assembly is rolled under the mounted wheel and tire and quickly adjusted to secure the wheel and tire by using a roller platform. A scissor jack mechanism is used to adjust the height of the roller platform which allows the rotation of the tire during the mounting procedure.

  • Publication number: 20200269641
Abstract: The present invention provides a tire lifting device that allows an operator to lift vehicle and remove vehicle tires remotely, thereby providing a more efficient and effortless vehicle tire removal operation to the operator. The device is configured to capture, remove, replace, and minutely position vehicle wheel and tire for easy re-installation without involving lifting by the technician. The device further is powered by hydraulic and or electric operation. The device comprises a steel frame with at least at least two fixed wheels, at least one steerable wheel and drives for steering the device over surface. The device further comprises a remote control unit to perform complex motions of the device remotely. A main jack and roller stand raises and lowers the wheel and tire for height positioning, while a support tubes and tire guide hold the tire erect either for removing or remounting the vehicle tire.

  • Patent number: 7522038
Abstract: A system and method for managing crisis communication are disclosed. A contact database holds information used to deliver broadcast messages to selected contacts. Messages are prepared in advance for delivery via different channels, including voice, fax, pager, and e-mail. Contact groups are defined by selecting specific contacts, or as “criteria groups” defined by search criteria. Notification tasks are created by determining the contact groups to receive the broadcast, then adding others if desired. Messages are selected for broadcast transmission in various channels. Administrators view a table of status codes for each attempted transmission. They filter the table based on each contact's status. Contacts or filtered sets can be added to and removed from a “renotification” list using the interactively filtered table. When contacts fail to confirm or update their contact information for longer than a certain period, the system automatically sends that contact a message reminding them to do so.
