  • Publication number: 20250015981
Abstract: In general, a computing device comprising a secure memory, a storage device, and a processor may be configured to implement the techniques. The secure memory may store a post-quantum cryptographic reference signature (PQCRS). The storage device may store bootloader stages, a list of classical cryptographic reference signatures (CCRS), and a PQC public key (PQCPK). The processor may, prior to executing a first bootloader stage, obtain the list of CCRS, the PQCRS, and the PQCPK. The processor may also apply a PQC algorithm with respect to the PQCRK and the list of CCRS to obtain a PQC verification signature (PQCVS), and responsive to the PQCVS matching the PQCRS, compare a first CCRS in the digitally signed list of CCRS to a first CC verification signature (CCVS) obtained based on the first bootloader stage. The processor may also, responsive to the first CCVS matching the first CCRS, execute the first bootloader stage.

  • Patent number: 10309517
Abstract: An off-axis transmission pump is driven via an idler gear. To reduce the transmission of gear noise, the idler gear is supported by a plastic cover. The plastic cover includes a molded-in metal insert to harden the cover in the vicinity of the idler gear. The metal insert may include inner and outer sleeves which may be connected by radially extending arms. The plastic cover is located relative to a front cover by at least two locating features.

  • Patent number: 9328229
Abstract: Ski boots and other cold weather articles are described made from polymer compositions that are exceptionally stable at low temperatures. The polymer composition, for instance, may contain a thermoplastic polymer, a thermoplastic elastomer, an impact modifier and a wear resistant additive. In one embodiment, various polymer components are selected such that they do not undergo a second order transition within a temperature range of from about 50° C. to about ?40° C., and particularly from about 23° C. to about ?40° C. In one embodiment, the polymer compositions are used to mold the outer shell of a snow ski boot.

  • Patent number: 8883279
Abstract: Fluid-assisted injection molding articles and processes for producing the articles are described. In one embodiment, a fluid-assisted injection molded article is formed from a polymeric composition containing a polyethylene terephthalate homopolymer in combination with a polyethylene terephthalate copolymer. The polyethylene terephthalate copolymer may comprise a copolymer of polyethylene terephthalate with isophthalic acid. The polymeric composition can also contain a reinforcing agent, such as glass fibers. Products made in accordance with the present disclosure have shown dramatically improved surface characteristics. In particular, pitting on the surface of the molded article is minimized.

  • Publication number: 20140079898
Abstract: A polymer composition is disclosed that contains a thermoplastic elastomer combined with an ?-olefin and vinyl acetate copolymer. In one embodiment, the composition contains a thermoplastic polyester elastomer combined with an ethylene and vinyl acetate copolymer. Various synergistic effects may be realized by combining the two polymers together. In particular, a resulting polymer mixture can be produced that has many of the properties of the thermoplastic elastomer and also has controlled melt flow properties. In addition, the polymer composition may have improved and controllable mechanical and thermal properties and color stability. The polymer composition may be processed using injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion and may undergo secondary processing.
