Abstract: The invention relates to an electrical generator for bicycles and similar vehicles. The generator includes a moveable magnet part which will generate an induction current in a coil when the magnet part moves. The generator is configured to be mounted near an electrical conducting part of the bicycle. The electrical conducting part, e.g. a rim, is rotatably arranged with the bicycle. When the electrical conducting part rotates the magnetic field from the magnet part will generate eddy current in the electrical conducting part. The eddy current will generate a magnetic field which will force the magnet part to move, e.g. rotate. Thus, an electrical current will be generated in the coil when the electrical conducting part rotates.
