  • Publication number: 20110270782
Abstract: An investment strategy determines changes of a value of an asset portfolio over the time of a study period. For each of the incremental periods of the study period, an exemplary embodiment retrieves from a memory a base parameter value for the incremental period, wherein the base parameter value corresponds to one of a base inflation value, a base asset return value, and a base tax value; determines a first iteration parameter value based upon a statistical function associated with the base parameter value; and determines a value of an asset portfolio based upon the first iteration parameter value and the second iteration parameter value. A financial report is generated based upon the determined value of the asset portfolio for each of the incremental periods, wherein the generated financial report indicates changes of the value of the asset portfolio over the study period.

  • Publication number: 20100162644
Abstract: A sill corner key for use in a sill assembly configured to be supported on a base surface, the sill assembly including a lineal base member and a vertical jamb. The sill corner key includes a vertical component having a top surface, a bottom surface, and an inner wall extending between the top surface and the bottom surface, the inner wall defining a sealant pathway formed therein. The inner wall is configured to slidably receive a portion of the lineal base member and the sealant pathway is configured to direct a fluid sealant to flow along the portion of the lineal base member within the inner wall.

  • Publication number: 20090165406
Abstract: A sill corner for use in a sill assembly supported on a base surface, the sill assembly comprising a vertical jamb and a lineal base member. The sill corner comprises a vertical component with a top surface adapted to receive the vertical jamb and a bottom surface adapted to abut the base surface. A horizontal component extends transversely from the vertical component and the horizontal and the vertical components are a unitary element. The top and bottom surfaces of the vertical component are separated by a height, the height being between about 1.00 and about 3.00 inches.

  • Patent number: 5700375
Abstract: An efficient method removes oxidants from fluids (gases and liquids, particularly air) by means of solid phase extraction or reaction. The solid phase extraction or reaction medium comprises a porous, preferably fibrous, polymeric, membrane or web in which are incorporated oxidant scavenger particulates. Typical oxidants removed in the method include ozone, oxides of nitrogen, halogen, and peroxides. The method of the invention protects organic analytes in analytical applications and removes oxidants in remediation applications by use of oxidant scavenger particles in porous membranes.
